Here when we were children, we thought Mwalimu Julius was bad with his policies; but they worked in the long run. No unstability like the rest of Africa. Land ownership is on lease - noone is allowed more than 1 home. Taxes are collected. Yes, we have poor people but good of heart. Our late Magafuli was not afraid to tell the chinese to go up a tree where his countries' interest mattered. We have one unified language. Ask a person or woman or child who he/she is - Tanzanian. Enforcing Swahili as a single language - in just 2 generations, there is no home language or tribal sense left. Where is Urdu... let us think about it? English is left right spoken. Because of us, Swahili is now center stage and a language across 10 countries and it continues to evolve because Julius enforced an institution dedicated to its evolvement.
