Azerbaijan issues warning to Iran, head of Parliament says "If Iran attacks Azerbaijan, Iran will be removed from Map. 5 new countries will popped up on today's Iran territory."

I don't understand, how will Azerbaijan split Iran into 5? Based on what?

By defending themselves, according to Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan will not split Iran into 5, Iran will do it by itself. Iran is not a homogeneus nation. Iran has to use "Religion" card and Terrorists to scare/hold the Nation together. Huge defeat at Azerbaijani border will cause immersive problems and turmoils in Iran, which Iran cannot deal with it with it's current economic power, or they will have to nuke their own lands/Cities to stop that progress.
