Iran's best option is to build closer relations with Pakistan. But the Iranian Crazy Mullah Regime never ever does anything that might even remotely benefit the Iranian people in specific or Muslims in general.

The Pakistani deep state has its own mind and keeps its priorities in check. In a stark contrast to Iran, Pakistan does not have a single centre of power. There are different groups that are always vying for power and competing against each other.

The Pakistani military is not a junta because it is under one man's absolute control for three years, which is the Chief of Army Staff. Depending on the type of a person the chief is, you will get different behaviors from the institution, political outcomes, bureaucracy's behavior etc etc. Often there is no continuation of the behavior if the new chief picks a different direction. In a junta the chief does not have to do campaign to get an extension.

Example: one chief could install Nawaz Sharif as the PM and the next could hang Nawaz Sharif's whole family.

The only way to overcome that is to form a federal union. Otherwise any ideas of any joint effort are hogwash.

Pakistan does not like dictators. Even after a decade the dictator is eventually removed.

The Mullahs have to be dislodged from Iran if there is to be any development in the region.

The Russians S-300/400 have proven to be total duds in Ukraine and Syria.

You might be being harsh and rolling them together is wrong. S300 is old and obsolete, already known and obvious fact.

Have no Patriot systems at all been destroyed in Ukraine? Probably just as many as what you accuse of being destroyed in Russia.

Patriot or S-400, they can't handle smal, slow UAVs. This is not critical of their designed abilities, but a slam on the overall air defense strategies both sides have displayed. These high-value anti-air systems need to be protected by cheaper anti-UAV systems and strong ground perimeter defense. They are for shooting down jets and missiles.

I don't believe so. Russia has tried to get other missiles and Iran has refused so far. The Russians have stiffed Iran on many deals including the SU-35S. In certain areas Iranian technology is superior to Russians, especially in AD systems. The Russians S-300/400 have proven to be total duds in Ukraine and Syria. It will be interesting to see how the Russians cope with the F-16 that are being pushed by NATO into Ukraine to attack Russian cities and softer targets.

Russia’s main achilles heel is the chips, because the US and its allies from Europe/Japan/South Korea/Taiwan have controlled the entire supply chain.

Russia as a nation of 140 million cannot compete with them to build up an entire supply chain, that’s why they have capitalized this, and want to bully Russia into submission.

China on the other hand is first fully industrialized country with more than billion population in this world.

We have managed to build up the entire semiconductor supply chain for Huawei to defy the US sanction.

The US is aware that China has alway supplied Russia the chips under the table, but there is very little that they can do right now.

The reason US are too scared to start war with Iran precisely because the COST and CASUALTIES on US side will be so horrible , in their Naval Assets and Air Assets and on their numerous bases in the middle east.. Those Naval and Air Assets that US lost cannot be replaced because US have no more industrial capability to make modern weapons. Even now the US cant make simple artilery rounds in sufficient manners to restock the empty NATO arsenal.

US military is geared toward short sharp conflict against badly outmatched enemy or insurgents. Any enemy that can hold and defend for long time will be detrimental to US military. This is why they use proxy soldiers to attack other nations , as US citizens are too weak to fight real wars. Even then they cant even beat the Yemeni fighters..

Diego Garcia will be destroyed by Iran's Ballistic Missle , removing one of the illegaly occupied US bomber base.

US Infrastructures will be attacked and sabotaged / destroyed in CONUS , LNG terminal destroyed..
