Because there is Russia behind the Armenians. Russia also has nuclear weapons. When Azerbaijan goes to war, it doesn't just throw itself into the fire. Turkey is also set on fire. Azerbaijan has to consider all this. It is not child's play to go to war with the Russians.

As long as Russia rule Armenia, the Karabakh issue would not solved. Russia will not give Armenia out of his hands. The dependence of Russia would end, if conflict ends and Turkey and Azerbaijan open the border. Of course, to Europeans too.

But as we can see, even when we agree on such a statement the individual domestic politics are screwing over the cooperation on global level. USA withdrawing and GB pulling out of EU is pretty much a disaster for EU because France is not a country that Germany can or wants to keep under control.

EU not being stable, or owning up to the problems of ME results in Turkey pretty much being alone with regional issues. For Turkey to overcome this we need to secure our own economy and rights (including EEZ) because EU is unreliable and definitely not impartial when it comes to turks.

Our own nations (everyone) are at fault here. Unfortunately I don't see anything improving. Russia and China will just wait for the "west" to slowly dissolve by itself.

Russia wouldn't use any nukes but would involve militarily for sure. Things may quickly evolve against Russia's favor in nuclear case.

Perhaps what's being circulated in social media is true, due to lack of peaceful progress in Libya Sirte and Jufra front the operations are imminent. So Russia/Armenia is escalating to create a new frontier. I have full faith that Azerbaijan can handle the skirmishes, but Russia might go in to make Turkey backstep in Libya.

The Armenian casualties a way higher than 2. The videos released by Azeri MoD shows dozens of direct strikes on their camps and bases. They just don't want to admit their sky-rocketing losses.

And, Azerbaijan has 11 martyrs.

Also, videos are circulating on twitter showing Armenian soldiers in coffins being delivered to their villages. they are new because they were recorded with tiktok.

We have to wait for official statements coming from both sides regarding acknowledged casualties suffered.

Both are known to exaggerate casualties inflicted to the other side.

Armenia hides casualties. We've seen this type of behavior multiple times recently. Like earlier this year when Turkey killed hundreds of Syrian troops yet Syria didn't reveal any losses until the footage was released. Once Azerbaijan gets its TB2s we will see how many troops Armenia loses.

Most non-NATO militaries don't reveal their losses.
