Why do I see the beginnings of a world war 3 ? The Turkish armistice hasn't even ended and Turkey and major Muslim countries are being needled into reactions. In the words of Alamma Iqbal we are going to be lost in a huge maze of cause and effect.

Honestly, brother you might as well let it happen WWIII; things need to be fixed from the mess left by UK, France and Russia after WWI & WWII.

Trying to be polite, but most of this thread is garbage. Very little information about military situation. I understand people are free to speak their minds, just some of you need to think before you post. Mainly aimed at honourable members that are saying "Pakistan should get more active in conflict" or "send military personnel".

We have india right on doorstep. Pakistan needs to focus all its energy on its immediate neighbourhood.

Sound from incoming projectile, or sirens warning of incoming attack. Likely sound from missile homing in on targets. I read Azeris are using a sucicide UAV ... it is loud as hell. I guess it is designed to make noise. This could be suicide UAV strike.

the Azeris are getting stuffed. have made no significant gains. Their men are getting butchered.

Just think what astronimical losses an attacking side would have to take, against a defending side, heavily dug into high terrain/mountains. and a fight to the absolute death attitude.

the azeris are keeping their losses a secret for a good reason. The fact they are throwing around outlandish claims of "2300" armenians killed, tells you azeri losses must be in the 1000s.

Also dont get too excited about some drone videos. virtually every single one of those drones has a camera on it. and you are seeing all the Azeri successes.

imagine if there was a camera attached to every arterlliry shell shredding azeri soldiers, every sniper blowing out a skull, etc.etc...

these drones make for good video, but so far their battle field decisiveness is lacking.

The US backed Pashinyan coup has been a disaster for Armenia. He has allowed subversive western NGOs to flood in and the Pentagon to set up biolabs and he badmouths Russia. The worst of it is that Pashinyan gave Armenians the illusion of having powerful allies in the West when actually they allowed themselves to be played by the West against Russia. Is the West telling Israel to stop weapons shipments to Azerbaijan? Not at all, in fact Israel is rushing supplies in the last three days.

Armenia is in a terrible geopolitical and strategic position between implacable enemies and with few allies and little resources. On top of that it has a long history of making terrible strategic decisions for one disaster after another. The combination of Pashinyan with the US Armenian diaspora is a poison pill.

That one Russian military base is all that is holding Turkey back from walking over Armenia. In the 1990’s when Turkey was massing to invade Armenia is was Yeltsin that told the Turks if they invaded Armenia they would be at war with Russia.

Now Russian and Iran would probably let the scenario run for a while before intervening.

Armenian got to pay back with some territory loss for their one night stand with USA, betraying their Russian and Iranian backers.

When you play chess you don't just focus on the one main piece the Queen but systematically look at all the pieces and all the possible moves and outcomes, do your calculations and make your move. You can distract your opponent with small sacrifices , lay traps whilst blocking his every move and possible positions. The key question is which states are the players and which are the pawns in the international chess game.
