That is a very big ambush that the ARM conducted. ~60 KIA. The area is very green, so its deep inside NK.

The KIA look very close together. It's hard to believe they would be so close together in enemy territory unless the ARM moved their bodies.

It just goes to show the cost of taking such difficult terrain. that's 60 top line troops. Firefight lasted only minutes I'm sure.

Armenia published a list of about 800 Azeri KIA with their names.

Even though Turkey is already in NATO.........

Turkey joined NATO in 1950s to fight Russia. Turkey doesn't fight Russia anymore so no need. If Turkey wants to leave NATO they can do so anytime they wish.

and 4 UN Security Council resolutions have been passed during the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict ( the UN Security Council calls on the withdrawal of the occupying Armenian forces from the Azerbaijan territory )

so including Russia the UN recognized Nagorno Karabakh as Azerbaijan territory

Russia can not fire even one bullet against Azerbaijan Forces in Azerbaijan territory ( Nagorno-Karabakh )

About 1,000 on both sides. We can extrapolate from casualty numbers in Operation Olive Branch.

It appears the AZ forces are pushing a little more than half a mile (one kilometer) into NK each day (if we average it out). This is great progress given the terrain and the Armenian defenses. I predict that these advancements will speed up in the coming week because Armenian forces are being destroyed. They are losing a lot of equipment and men each day, sooner or later their remaining defenses will crack and you'll see a big advance by AZ forces.

Still, I don't think AZ will get all of NK, but most of it.

Obviously tanks will not determine this battle. Have you been watching? Also, you're notion that ATGM will change the outcome of this war is surface level analysis for for a 7th grader. The Armenians have SCUD missiles and you're over here talking about ATGMS?

What has Armenia gained from this war thus far? what has AZ gained? do the math genius. This war is less than three weeks old and just imagine what will happen in the next month,

In terms of Russia, again, Russia will not attack AZ forces in NK. It will only intervene to safeguard the territorial integrity of the republic of Armenia, and that's it.
