What's new

Australia And Pakistan Are In A Huge Fight Over 21,000 Dead Sheep.

You are dumb it is proven that slitting the throat and letting the animal bleed out is the humane way and least painful. The animal quickly loses consciousness and so dies peacefully by bleeding out. Go ask any biologist to confirm what I just wrote here. (The heart continues to pump out blood)

No..not everyone can correctly located the carotid or the jugular and most of the time they end up messing it up causing the animal pain. I have seen animals bleating like crazy after the so called 'halal' method. Just sick. On the contrary when you go for the neck and behead it in one swift motion, then no pain and the last thing the animal will remember is the blade touching its neck.

Yet India is in the same situation with British Aid, your people do not want it but your leaders are more than willing to accept it. Sound familiar???

Where do you read this bs ? Indian finance minister is on record saying in the Parliamnt that the Brits can keep their peanuts. But its the Brits who continue to insist on sending us aid, because it hurt their imgae. And unlike some 'other' country the Govt of India does not receive the aid to revive the economy or pay back the loans. The aid is mostly to private non governmental organizations that the Govt has no truck with.

Hardly. Youtube the video of it, it's absolutely brutal and disgusting.

Yes they are animals they are meant for consumption, but is partially cutting their throats and then leaving to lay for 30 mintues bleeding out in pain really necessary?

Or burying sheep alive in massive pits?

These are the wrong slaughter practises and these perfectly good sheep were killed for nothing

It has been found that the reports of them being infected with different diseases are false.

1 report said they were infected with foot and mouth disease, not 1 case of foot and mouth has been recorded in Australia for 100 years.

When I said "these people", I meant Australians .

I dont get that who is gonna pay for this loss Australia or Pakistan

Off topic... People dont raise voice against America for doing bombing and killing in Iraq n Afghanistan did u ever notice the Iraqi and Palestine women and children pictures are being slaughtered u pitty douuble standard white skin people but u cn see those sheeps burried by so called terrorist state Pakistan by ur own.
Misery misery the sheeps have been killed by Pakistani which is infected Pakistani are dangerous people ohhh no !!! Well eat sh*t

Australian government should be ashamed of the how they are defending their flock of diseased sheep. If the sheeps were healthy and free of virus then why government of UAE refused to accept that consinment although that flock was imported by UAE.PAkistan had imported it after it was being refused by UAE and was on it's way back to Australia.

Well Sherlock, if it's such a great method, why hasn't it been tried before? I'll tell you why, as soon as you pull the trigger for the first time. The sound is going to make all the other 20999 sheep go nuts with fear!

Silencer laga ke dichkyaon! :sniper: :P

Talking about human compasion, sandard etc etc ...

Australia did NOT make 1% of the noise, when they found Americans peeing on human dead bodies.

however Sheep ... is a different matter. Those too diseased and rejected sheep !

Tell me why thy were returned from Bahrain? I dont condone the maltreatment of the sheep, but if they were not infected, they would not have been returned by original consignee.

Something is definitely fishy here. Some Pakistani official of Asif Sahab govt. has made some bucks here.

Yes because KS is present at all of the slaughters. The people who do that for a living do it right of course some first timers will mess it up. Secondly the beheading of the head is fine if you are going to discard the whole animal but if you are going to eat the animal than the blood and all the bacteria along with it will remain in the flesh. Like I said ask a biologist which is the best method of slaughter. Also the Jews use the same method.

the sheep was born in australia, thus it had australian citizenship, the aussies are shocked to see their australian passport holder animals being slaughtered like this

I think its the same one....

Bahrain mulls accepting sheep consignment after Qatar, UAE nod
Though the Ministry of Environment has affirmed that a recent consignment of 46,000 Australian sheep imported by Qatar Meat and Livestock Company (Mawashi) is free from all diseases, a Bahraini newspaper yesterday reported that these sheep were sold to Qatar after Manama refused to accept the same.
Some 5,000 sheep from the same consignment were sold to the UAE as well, the Gulf Daily News published from Manama said.
According to the daily, the Singapore-registered vessel Ocean Dover was stopped from offloading its cargo and sent away after a large number of sheep were found to be affected by Orf disease, which can be transmitted to humans.
Orf is an exanthemous disease caused by a parapox virus and occurring primarily in sheep and goats. It is also known as contagious pustular dermatitis, infectious labial dermatitis, ecthyma contagiosum, thistle disease and scabby mouth. Orf virus is zoonotic - it can also infect humans.Quoting Bahrain Livestock Company vice-chairman Yusuf al-Salah, the daily said 45,000 animals had already entered the Qatar market and another 5,000 the UAE.
He said the rejection of the livestock would cost the company around $4mn. “UAE and Qatar have accepted the livestock from the same shipment and consignment of livestock that Bahrain has rejected - the UAE has taken 5,000 and Doha has taken 45,000 and it is in the market already,” said al-Salah.
“We are studying the possibility of bringing these animals into Bahrain. We have complied with all the regulations set by the government in Bahrain.”
Al-Salah claimed the meat was safe for consumption and that the ship should not have been rejected as the Orf disease was not categorised as being unacceptable for human consumption.
“This is the first time ever that a shipment of livestock like this has been rejected,” he said.
Bahrain’s Municipalities and Urban Planning Affairs Ministry officials said the shipment had been rejected because the disease was contagious and can affect humans.
“The shipment contains livestock that have all the symptoms of Orf disease, which can be found in sheep, goats and other livestock,” said assistant under-secretary Dr Salman al-Khuzaei.
“The disease can infect humans as a result of direct contact with the infected area.“Orf in humans presents itself in a form similar to ulcers and can look like dermatitis of eczema.
“The shipment has been confirmed to have animals with Orf disease aboard - it was confirmed through physical examination as the disease presents itself visually - so there is no need for lab testing in this case.
“We have tried to be as strict as possible in order to not make any mistakes in order to assure the public that 100pc of the meat in the country is safe for consumption.
“The ship has been sent off and is currently outside of Bahraini waters,” said Dr al-Khuzaei.
According to reports published in the local Arabic press, the number of mortalities during the voyage was not more than 1%, the report said.
“Qatari authorities conducted rigorous check-ups following information received from Bahrain on the prevalence of foot and mouth disease in the consignment shipped to that country from Australia,” a local Arabic daily had said.

That's bullshit. Run away vegetarians.

But I agree on the jhatka part though. One cut and its done.

Chopping off head completely kills the spine and the reflex action of heart Pumping faster to keep up the blood pressure doesnt happen.
Chtting neck while keeping spine intact, kills the brain or sends it into coma, due to cut off supply of Blood and oxygen, but Spine keeps asking the heart to pump faster to keep blood pressure high..that is instinctive action and spine has no sense of pain, only brain has which gets killed immediately...
The reflex action of spine drains the blood out of the animal, making it much suitable and healthier for human consumption than "Jhatkaa".

Look like this bump on the face in India did mess up her Brains

these sheep are infected and were dealt appropriately, before those diseased meat could reach to the market they were all cleaned up, next time before sending the biological bomb you aussie, instead of earning money think about the human lives on other side of the world which is more precious then your sheep

for no reason?? they were infected this is the first reason

As explained in my post on the first page, the tests done on the animals weren't done correctly. They weren't diseased. Live exports are now suspended to Pakistan and Bahrain.

Even if they were diseased, that's not the proper way of slaughtering animals. The people doing the slaughtering weren't even suppose to be doing it. The sheep were basically stolen from port.

the disease could have been transferred to both humans and indigenous live stock...
The people involved in culling took great risk by manually slaughtering the animals and deserve praise...
it wasnt financially feasible to use any other method of destroying the sheep...

The blame is on Australia, they trid to cheat Pakistan by selling diseased sheep, and when caught they are now pulling a face saving stunt..

The reports were false. The report claimed the sheep had foot and mouth disease. Australia hasn't had a single case of that for atleast 100 years.

They were also reported to have "anthrax" which is just ridiculous in itself.
