How many vehicles a year is Pakistan assembling?

News Report from Feb 2016

Pakistan car sales related to those locally assembled increased effectively during the July to January duration as they went up 44.85% reaching about 107,907 pieces. According to Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association this was 74,497 pieces during the same duration last year.

Overall auto sales which combine vans, jeeps as well as LCVs showed a 57% increase reaching 133,437 pieces in comparison to 85,135 last year.

Truck sales also increased to reach 3,751 pieces from 2,727 pieces and bus sales almost doubled from 398 to 700 pieces since the China-Pak Economic Corridor came in to view again.

He said 11,658 made from 2007-2015, so probably not.

May be Audi will decide that a much smaller production line in Pakistan will earn enough of a profit to make it worth their while.

Cynical and sarcastic!

I honestly don't see it happening, atleast not in the near future, with the Audi plant in India and China already in place.

I really hope the massive delegation from Sindh had other investment meetings lined up in the EU and didn't go all the way to Germany just for this MoU.

Great, just when I'm leaving the country........ -_-

Nothing cynical or sarcastic in what I said, Sir. The fact that Audi is conducting a feasibility study is enough by itself to indicate that some back-of-the-envelope guess must be promising enough to conduct the formal study.
