How was it?

Gives you perspective to see all sides of the coin but I wasn't really militant atheist like you more I was blaming God for issues in my life and was spiteful than anything else. It was also because my mother used to shove religion down my throat from a young age so it could have been partial rebellion, ironically when she gave up I started looking up stuff myself and now I would say I am a much more firm believer than I was at birth. So I guess you can say it was a refreshing experience.

because I gr up amongst the socialites & the elite of lahore , these things were more common for me
but as the time has progressed esp the generation that grew up during Mushy has a different take on things.
They were exposed to things by ultr-liberal. the new normal back home is very different.
Was talking to this guy whose cousin was conduction some auditions for males. several guys approached him & offered to do whatever he wanted to get selected. Now that is some progress !

even my imam in the masjid said that we can eat meat from anywhere because its halal or "makruh" so i eat it as well lol but i don't drink because its clearly forbidden.

But if you deviate from Islam, u cannot be a muslim either. There are no ifs or buts.
You cannot judge a person except upon which is very apparent.
Let the person judge himself but you know what? they never will.They need an excuse
to justify their behaviour!

As for meat, do not follow these retarded molvis either. Mostly they are arabs

i think most of muslims in the west might have gone through that "atheist" phase.. i myself went through it and then realized one day this shit is just stupid … how can the universe just pop out of no where lol.

Half my family is shia, I find them more superstitious except for the Zaidi Shia.

We can debate for days on the origins of the universe but the one thing I think most agree on is that there is some order to the chaos that defines how the universe works. That order is God in the case of believers whereas it is idk I guess science in the case of others.

My best friend himself is a hardcore atheist Ecuadorian so he always attempts to reconvert me to his cause, I remember we used to have endless debates on the subject and how one time we were debating and some hot chick passed by and we both stopped arguing to check her out and then I was like you want to leave that body to chance?
