I dont understand why people are jealous of India owning a 5th Gen jets before them, plenty of Pak and Chinese trolls here today.

He said that FGFA which will be based on T-50 / Pak-FA will have major design changes to its fuselage due to twin pilot configuration and Indian Expertise in Composite will only enchance Stealth characters of the Aircraft.

And Russia gave us MKI which is superior to Their own AF equivalent.

For the aircrafts China "copies" (ex: J-11) it has the entire blue prints and every single detail relating to the aircraft. Having that knowledge, Chinese engineers can carefully examine and customize/change any part (little or big) of the aircraft from the overall design shape to the avionics, composite materials, electronic systems, radars etc etc to fit specific Chinese requirements, while keeping everything else intact.

It's like changing the DNA of a biological entity to create something more adaptive/suitable for it's specific needs. To do something like this requires a lot of knowledge and skills.

Creating the entire aircraft without a doubt, but when you have the entire western world holding out technology from us then what options are there?

In fact, what the west did worked in reverse. By not allowing the transfer of technology it pushed China to innovate. The process of reverse engineering has taught Chinese engineers a lot and the knowledge attained by it was crucial for the development of the indigenous J-10 and the new 5th gen J-20 with many more black projects being developed as we speak.

American and Russia are not stupid at all...in fact they're very smart: When US allows the sale of superior F-16, they already have F-22 in operation which 1 generation ahead..so what do they have to care or scare off this F-16?? Same for Russia despite de fact that they don't have 5th gen fighter operation such as F-22 , when they sold Su-30 Mki...they already have better version for it own airforce such as su-37 and much more..they certainly won't reveal to the world...even Russian can't afford to have in large quantity... but the core technology is on their hands and can laugh into chain production any time when needed.

Now what we discuss here is the 5th gen fighter which the best of the best that Russian airforce don't possess yet..do they go to let India get a better version of PAk FA then their own airforce? ..it's just doesn't make sense.
