not taking any sides here but when.was the last time you visited a Govt owned Hospital here in Pakistan??
You talk about the MS or CEO making the complain about the funds then the issue is MS would make the issue only when he is present there.....and get funds for hospital is least of his worries because then he cannot ask the patient to.visit him at One of the private Hospitals, pay the hefty fee of 1000/- even for reconsultation.......
So the problem lies with Interests of the doctors rather than getting the funds

Exactly my point.... so why bash the work being done to support common, poor people? There is no comparison or relationship between a hospital being run bad due to doctor's interests, and a Metro bus project which is a government supported project. Why bash one thing by bringing in something totally irrelevant into the argument?

The real performance of PMLN 2014 - 2015

Yesterday Ishaq Dar revealed info regarding the financial situation and budget indicators of 2014- 2015 (real performance across Pakistan by the state government)


1.9 total increase in electricity (on which this PMLN tola did so much topi drama in past 8 years). Lowest export + lowest import (lowest import is good sign when your local industry grow.. unfortunately, local industry waheen ke waheen khari hey no growth). He admitted that not a single mark achieve by his govt from 2014 - 2015. Lowest infact Zero foreign investment and talking about 46 BN lol jokay next 15 years may total lagna hey aur woh tab jab Pakistan kay halaat A - Z behtar hongay abhe tak zero investment. Unemployment rate high in past 13 years. ye hey performance 2014 - 15 tak ki..

noone can deny the importance of metro systems thats a given

the debate is when should it be built? remeber most of health problems like lack of machinery in health system can be solved with little investment. for example an average MRI machine costs 15 crore, a well equipped hospital will cost around 1 billion in all imp equipment.
meaning if every district head quater hospital in country is upgraded to tertiary care hospital the expensive would not be more than 200 billion rupees. we have doctors we dont have equipment. i think similar amount will be needed to upgrade over 300,000 schools.


i believe this is more important than establishing a metro. we need to atleast do these three things before making a metro
1. upgrade all district head hospitals
2. upgrade all schools with power, water electrcity and biometric system
3. upgrade basic health units
the above three will cost 500-600 billion rupees but we cant o that becase we dont have money. this is far more important than building a metro.


they say there are 65 countries with metro let me ask where is our number in health and education, its not even in top 130!

having said this all i still believe this is a matter of debate those who think metro should be built first i respect their opinion too. however those people who ridicule people like me saying that health and education isnt a first priority at all, well i can only say they are saying this because they have access to health and education themselves!

Rawalpindi to greet three new mega development projects

Rawalpindi- Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has approved three mega projects of water supply, sewerage and sanitation worth Rs 40 million, 20 million and 592 million each.

The approval for these mage projects was accorded in the meeting of core selection committee of RDA. A mega water supply project will be launched in PP-6 Rawalpindi at the cost of Rs 592 million and water will be supplied from Chehan dam for this project. The study will be conducted in respect of project for setting up filtration plants and pumping stations to bring water from Chehan dam. It will cost Rs 20 million. Decision has been taken to carry out master planning for launching mega project of water supply, sanitation and sewerage at the cost of Rs 40 million in Rawalpindi city. Government of Punjab will provide funds for conducting study and construction of development projects.

Benazir hospital to be renovated

He said that the work on reconstruction of emergency department was in progress at a cost of Rs60 million.

He said that mostly 1,400 patients daily visited emergency department and over 1,500 came to OPD of the hospital.

Man why are you wasting your time on PTI trolls they will never came up from criticising. PmL-N is on right track and people of Pakistan is supporting him. In our kpk peshawar is head quarter of kpk and there is no proper mass transit system available and people are using expensive taxis or barah wal bus which is 1950 model bradfort busses. Kuch sharam hoti hai kuch hayaa hoti hai kuch ethics hoti hai.

No one PTI supporters are Answering this question... IF Asad Umer knew that this Project Cost 4 billion According to ADB report and he said he will go to supreme court then why he didn't go there??
