It is a large ASW vessel of the Udaloy class. The Udaloy class are generally considered the Soviet equivalent of the American Spruance-class destroyers. Unlike the Sovremenny's, which are progressively being written off, these Soviet era 7,570 ton ships remain in service as the main FRS ships for now.
