PML-N changed this trend, and start growing Foreign reserves back up. Which eventually helped currency devolution, and also Imports.
4) Government are trying to bring Railway, Steel mills, back on track, and railway which was going into the loss started to show profits.
5) Government & Army first time is on same page. They speak, plan and making decisions together on operation and country wide security situation.
6) Karachi where daily 16 target killing was normal, due to Government efforts it has improved, and recently Eid Bazar is showing too good improvements.
7) Pakistan is getting orders from Europe Union based on some requirements been meet by this government. This will help Pakistani Industry to grow.

don't have time to cover everything, but I have atleast listed more then one, which will eventually improve Pakistan's situation.

Not everything happening in the country is thanks to the govt.

1) Infrastructure is not going to feed people...nor is it helping businesses which already are placed in cities where infrastructure is fine but has no electricity ...what about the block near hospitals ...blocking ambulances in the name of metro? And how do you define more jobs when all contracts were "given" (in West you contest for it or send in your applications for an open project) to foreigners...who is actually earning?
2) Initiative means nothing if corruption is equally high
3) Foreign reserves were also controlled during Musharaff's time...Whats new?
4)The same steel mills that were sold off? same railway that was looted to nothing? by whom...yes of course govt!
5) govt and Army have been on same page numerous tiems before...
6) Karachi is breathing some air thanks to Northern OP not thanks to NS just sitting in air conditioned office, car and house!
7) orders from EU? for what? industries that died? or orders for the ever growing NS empire? Only few local business are thriving while NS business is booming!

What NS and team may want to handover security to Army that if something happens at the two or one rally/ies, then can lay the blame at army's feet.

Remember the Model Town incident.

The advantage will be that Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri who are working for an agenda for midterm elections or technocrat govt will face a defeat when the govt agencies use violence against the protestors. The public opinion will also turn against the army.

The positive thing can come out can be that the army allows IK to take over the country under a deal for a technocrat govt without resort to violence and clears the way for long march and removes hurdles.

Tahirul Qadri can be bought off but Imran Khan will be adamant for a role as Prime Minister. Imran Khan can be a good factor in integrating the Taliban in the society.
