Army now holding 30 dominating heights, earlier unoccupied, on southern bank of Pangong Tso

I think you don't get it. Chinese are holding the plains so indian army have to fight them if they don't go back.

So they are doing next best thing, occupy the strategic heights around them. When the fight broke out , this will help IA a lot as we don't have that much good infra there to tackle China at minutes notice.
Of course long drawn war is different ball game.
This assessment is accurate. Climbing to unmanned peaks is only useful immediately before an offensive push. In other situations, sitting there is a drain on logistics resources and India is not a rich country to be playing that game. The conclusion one must draw is India is posturing to launch a major offensive into Chinese territory.

Three years ago, PDF management allowed Turk members to turn PDF into an anti-China platform for "East Turkistan" propaganda. An anti-China moderator moderated the Chinese sections. Now PDF management changed its course but Beijing already pulled the plug.
Pulling the plug was a bad move. More Pakistanis support China on this forum than Turks opposing China.

I understand what your concerns were, but those could have been addressed by engaging with PDF management over time. We have plenty of Indians on this forum that attack and abuse Pakistan, and many Pakistani members complain about them, but we have handled them over time instead of just blocking the site in Pakistan.

But regardless, China needs good English speaking Chinese to properly argue and present China's narrative to the world.

As pro-China Pakistanis who value the China-Pakistan alliance, it is painful to not see a proper pro-China narrative being pushed by Chinese posters. Perhaps there is one on Chinese forums and platforms, but we need Chinese members to properly translate and convey that information on other English speaking platforms.

Looks like India is making the Chinese kneel down to them. India has our support here in Australia.

Well done to India make the Chinese lick the Indian boots and free Tibet.
The Indians have done nothing other than the equivalent of climbing trees well inside their backyard, that provide some kind of view into the neighbor's back yard, and claimed it as a 'stealth operation capturing strategic peaks'.

Do you honestly think the Chinese military is so unprofessional as to leave strategic heights that could be used to undermine their positions unoccupied?

And leave out the inflammatory language next time.

The reason why Indian bots here can argue so much is because English is basically their second language ... I mean what else would you get out of a colonial empire colonizing you for 400 years?

According to the Indians, internet was invented by them 9000 years ago, so nothing is out of the question for them with regards to what they think. :cheesy:

Oh I know - even us Pakistanis are completely outnumbered on that count, but still, you cannot ignore the importance of global public relations.

Let PDF management know how we can help going forward. The staff can always open PM's with anyone interested upon request and discuss things privately.

Funniest thing I read all day. Australia and everyone else is nudging Hindustan off the edge of a cliff just for giggles. "Go on India! You can do it! Just believe in yourself. Australia stands with you....at a safe distance".

WOW! What a slap. Let's see what excuse chinese now come up with.

We have reclaimed our pre 1962 territory south of pangong tso.
It's just next to the Chinese Claim Line, your original 1962 border extends further mate. Lol.

Check the CCL and see how far you 'penetrated' lol. Its literally just next to the line. Peaks? Each lil bump is now a peak right? Well the same thing happened before the Galwan massacre. Lol

If it was strategic, it would have been occupied long ago by PLA, the troops are at both entrance into the lake area, you are stuck at the peaks mate.

You just accepted that you lost in this battle. Not even luck can save you in a war.
Err no. Do you struggle with English? At no point in the statement made by the poster you're responding to did he accept a loss. He stated that Hindustan is imagining victories on the internet - a position I agree with.

IA units fortifying Indian held territory is not some heroic victory or capture of enemy territory - it's simply what India should have been jolly well doing all along. Of course, a slightly lower degree of ineptitude than usual may well be worth celebrating in the Indian military.

This is now like Siachen. Because of China's abject stupidity, they have militarized a zone which while patrolled earlier by both sides was generally peaceful.
Completely agree about the stupidity part. While many bring to attention the military disparity between the Indians and the Chinese, they forget to mention that the relative threat matrix is even more skewed. Our other enemy is Pakistan, formidable as a defensive fighting force but not even close to the combined threat that China faces on its eastern front. From a logistical standpoint, we are closer to the disputed areas than they are. My dispassionate view is same as yours, this is stupidity from China’s end. The Chinese on the forum will no doubt support what Xi’s doing, but they are making strategic blunders at a global level. This “opportunity” will be exploited by all to cut them to size geopolitically

It’s an unprecedented move. We were now actively engaged in battle preparations. Claiming unclaimed territory is dangerously close to declaring war. The Chinese understand the escalation, it’s their move know.

Here is the map of the heights now occupied by Indians in Pangong Tso.

As you can see the attempt by the Indians on their side of the disputed border is purely defensive.
The heights are along the highway. It is no more than protecting their supplies to the north.
But the Chinese still holding many heights which they can use to disrupt the supplies if they so wish.

The Indians are now in a position where they are forced to defend occupied lands from both China and Pakistan, exponentially increasing their already high costs - that's not sustainable, not for their long-term growth plans.
