Army jawan killed in encounter with militants in J&K

Now then.. what has been happening here?? :police:

Its a struggle of perspectives.. it is a struggle for rights at one end and a struggle for security at the other.
There are no victors here, only dead bodies to take home to the families.

Sudden sharp rise in such incidents indicates plenty is going on inside and as anticipated by many ISI is not going to spare Raw and IA for their involvement in killing of thousands of innocent Pakistani's from 2006 onwards through their proxies once US withdraws in 2015.
But as history tells us such acts may lead to a full fledged war, is Pakistan ready for one?
My personal opinion is we should go for a well planned offensive after activating our support from within Kashmiris and get this problem solved for once and all.
Once its solved all over other issues will fall in order.
A final powerful blow is all what we need and sooner the better.
Our relations with India will heal in few years after we have taken what's ours and that's going to be really good for the prosperity of poor Indians as they will get access to Iran , Afghanistan and Central Asia .
Though still the best thing is Kashmiris get their rights without any bloodshed hut considering the hindu mentality and no room for justice in their social system that's almost impossible so let's plan for a final battle.

You believe you can win against India militarily? How?

What do you have, that we don't, in much higher quantities and in many cases much better quality?

RIP to the brave jawans. and Rot in Hell for the terrorists.

Two soldiers and four militants were killed in two gun battles along the Line of Control in Keran and Kupwara in north Kashmir on Sunday.

The Army said it stepped up counter-insurgency operations in Kashmir keeping in view the rising number of infiltration incidents.

“In the last 24 hours, two of our soldiers — Naik Neeraj Kumar Singh of 57 Rashtriya Rifles and Grenadier Rahul Kumar of 23 Grenadiers Battalion — were killed while fighting terrorists in northern Kashmir,” an Army spokesperson said.

The first encounter was in the Keran sector on Saturday night. The Army said soldiers intercepted a group of militants, resulting in exchange of fire. While the militants escaped unhurt, one soldier was killed.

“The militants took advantage of the darkness in the dense forest and escaped from the site of the encounter,” the spokesperson said.

The second gun battle started on Sunday morning in the Kalaroos area of Kupwara district.

“We had information that some infiltration had happened earlier this week. Our troops today came across five-eight terrorists in the forests in Kalaroos and an intense gunfight ensued. We killed four of the militants and one of our jawans was also killed in the operation and another wounded,” Lieutenant Colonel N.N. Joshi said.

The Army said it found the bodies of the militants and recovered four AK-47 rifles from the encounter site.

A hunt has been launched for the rest of the militants.

“We are carrying out a cordon and search operation for the remaining terrorists,” Lt. Colonel Joshi said. The Army said the militants belonged to the Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Modi has been chosen by the people of India and that too by a majority, so whatever agenda he is following is India's agenda now. Learn to deal with it than crying here. Anyways haven't seen him following a communal agenda so far, at least Muslims of India didn't complain so far.

And don't worry, the so called 'freedom fighter' will keep meeting the same fate as four of their brethren have met.
