KARACHI: Five people were killed Wednesday when an Army helicopter crashed in the Pakistani northern area of Skardu, DawnNews reported.

According to the military’s Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Aviation MI-17 aircraft crashed near Skardu airport. Five people, including the pilot and the co-pilot were killed in the accident.

So far, the cause of the accident had not been ascertained, said the spokesman

There is no mention of any foul play, it was most probably a mechanical malfunction.

They will never mention it.

SAMs had bee recovered from BLA by rangers, and recently we had seen many PAF crashes in Baluchistan area and this one now over Sakardu!!!! Alarming.

BLA operates in baluchistan n not gilgit baltistan.

if it were bla than they would have shot down a chopper in baluchistan.
Rangers operate in Punjab n Sind. while FC operates in Baluchistan n KPK.
i think u ment frontier corps n not rangers
 
If I am not wrong Skardu is the same area where there was an avalanche and killed 125 soldiers.
