great ride.....they just dont build them like they used to
i remember I was in Sinai region of Egypt camping/off-roading with friends. I saw an almost brand new Liberty start developing shakes, rattles, and what not. Next thing i knew, this guy is leaking oil everywhere from his rear differential.
the Cherokees of the mid 1980s/1990s were true off-roader cars in my very humble opinion. I've driven many, but never owned one before but I still feel it's a hell of a tough car --especially for hill climbing. With steady momentum and a reasonably familiar understanding of the car and the conditions, it can go almost anywhere.
i'm also a fan of those old Wagoneers with the wooden panels....but i've never seen one in Pakistan as of yet. I just know about them There are some examples existing in the country, in fact they were being manufactured here in 80s by now defunct "Naya Daur Motors" --but ive never been able to come across even one
