in my views i am a muslim so all muslims my brother and its my duty to respect other religions and regions ..............
i love pakistan ....
the thing that hurts me is division and loyality based on racism or ethnicity ........
1st i am muslim .....

i hate those who place their race above every thing ........

What is this cast "pathan" giving you that is upper than being a Sheikh or Chaudhry or Arayen?

The Cronulla riots happened because the white boys got jealous of white girls flirting with non-white guys (Lebanese, Islander, etc.). There may have been some jerks in the Lebanese group, but no worse than average teenage boys of any ethnicity.

I (and many other Indians) consider myself a human first (my species), then an Indian(nationality), then a Telugu (ethnicity), and only then an atheist/socialist (personal beliefs).

Regarding the topic, I was born and raised in Hyderabad but spent much of my life in Moscow, where I reside now. I am strongly loyal to both India and Russia.

I will be culturally always rooted to my birth country while I will always be a law abiding citizen of migrated country but the point is if my kids were born in migrated country, in that case while I will try to teach them native country's culture or heritage but will never expect them to be "loyal" to my birth county.

We desis have always have a habit to corelate names/surnames and an unnecessary expectation of linking them with native country while it is not true in many cases. L N Mittal, the steel tycoon, consider him both Indian and British while his son said once, "I am not Indian, I am English" and people started taking it as negative while he is actually right in my opinion.
