BTW, those who say that Americans plan for far ahead are so wrong! Each American President is capable of independent decisions, for sure, but the POTUS is also constrained by party lines, lobbies, and Congressional approvals. The classic example of the American policy wishy-washiness is that years of the hard work on Iran by Obama/Kerry was undone the lobbies and pressure groups behind Trump. And so a rapprochement with Iran may well start after Biden is elected--if he's elected.

To that point, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, during his recent speech, hinted at Iran's Arab rivals seeking back door negotiations with Iran while showing a tough face publicly.

It may be true. But I agree that if anything is supposed to happen, it is after the election. First because Iran would never help Trump campaign by conceding to negotiations as there is a good chance Trump may lose the election. Second, because Trump will never sign a win-win deal with Iran before the election as it will lose the support of Arabs and Israel and their powerful lobbies alike.

However, after the elections, he no longer cares about any support as it will be his last round and he would like to leave a legacy behind.

I don't think Trump would really care about any of that. He is a self righteous man thinking only about his own good. His career days are over. He most probably will retire after his last term. So he has nothing to worry about and would love to have a victory like Nixon with China in his legacy. He has been repeating that if elected, he will reach a deal with Iran within a few weeks.

Actually the Democrats would want a deal with Iran: Years of hard work done by the Obama administration to reach the deal with Iran, which was undone by Trump because of the Israel Lobby.

We shall see who wins the elections in the US in November. If there ever has been a pivotal election since at least FDR taking power during the Great Depression then I would be surprised!! The erratic, unpredictable behavior of Trump has the whole world watching which way the proverbial camel will sit on the ground! (that's an Urdu phrase, btw).
