Anything else to tour in India?

By the way, although the Taj definitely incorporates some elements of Persian architecture, it was built by the Rajputs as palace. It is not an Islamic building or anything. Shah Jahan only purchased it from the Rajputs. The details are in the "Badshahnama of Shah Jahan", which is the official court history of that era.

Depends on their interests, An average Pakistani is more subjective and only care about their fields, Those who are interested in india obviously knows more about india, but most of Pakistanis have just selective interests. So you can't blame anyone on not knowing about india , Majority of them know more about U.S, Canada, European nations, China , japan and middle east as compare to india.

Not in this forum. We have Pakistani members here who knows more about the Tribals in the jungles of Central India than Indians themselves.

The best architecture in India is that of ancient temples in the South and East of the country.

The places that survived the barbarism of the fil.thy invaders.

Taj is an Indian monument, made with Indian resources, materials and by Indian craftsmen. Nothing to do with any foreigners.

The architects used turquoise from Tibet, Sapphire from Srilanka, lapis lazuli from Afganistan and carnelian from Arabs. Sculptors were from Uzbekistan, Bukhara then and calligraphers from persia and syria. Stonecutters came from baluchistan.
main designer of the main dome was a turkish, Ismail Afridi. Ustad Isa and Puru, key architects from Persia had a key role in building Taj.

The "Designers" were paid by the hour. They were merely hourly temps.

Any imported material or small numbers of labor was insignificantly small and doesn't change the basic facts.

Sripuram-Sri Lakshmi Narayani Golden Temple, Vellore, TamilNadu..

Sripuram-Sri Lakshmi Narayani Golden Temple is the largest Golden temple in the world, with over 100 tonnes of gold used. All the gold work was done by artisans specializing in temple art using gold. Every single detail was manually created, including converting the gold chunks into gold foils and then mounting on the gold foils on copper. Gold foil from 9 layers to 15 layers has been mounted on the etched copper plates. Every single detail in the temple art has significance from the vedas. Sripuram design represents a star-shaped path(Sri chakra), positioned in the middle of the lushgreen landscape, with a length of over 1.8 km. One has to walk along the star path to reach the temple in the middle, which is laid by messages from Sri Sakthi Amma and from different faiths and spiritual leaders.

It is not that the Pakistanis really know about the tribals in the jungles of Central India.. it is just that when people are having cyber wars over the internet, they google about each other countries and post the flaming thread.. I am telling you majority of Pakistanis (living inside Pakistan) don't know much about south, central and east india... How many Pakistanis know about Andhra Pradesh or Orissa? They only know about Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat perhaps, etc.
