i have always wanted to learn chinese and german.

If you wish you learn chinese mandarin I suggest this book "Making Out in Chinese" I know the name sounds kinda strange but it's a pretty good book. The only thing I found difficult about Mandarin is alotta words sound alike. German is very easy to learn took me less than a week to learn the basics.

German is easy when ur familiar with english. Its more like learning the analogies with english rather than learning a completely new language.
