So this time Chris Betzmann has become Muslim after spending over a year in Pakistan vlogging.

For those unfamiliar with his material (I suspect that's most of you), he's a young man, bit of a lad, spent most of the year making the equivalent of tiktok style mess about videos. Spent a lot of time with burger type vloggers, the wannabe gora types often looked down upon in this forum.

Yet through thier love and the example of character they displayed and what he saw in Pakistan on the streets - he has Alhamdulillah converted to Islam.

Two lessons...

1. Never judge a book by its cover - even though its our national sport.

2. Us overseas Pakistanis should reflect on why we have so little positive impact on the communities we call home. What dawah do we do with our character and behaviours.

good job. Gotta catch them all. Pokemon Pokemon gotta catch them all. be careful to not let the Chinese near him or they might catch him and make him think he is Chinese. Also keep him away from African tribes people. They might make him believe he is African. Pokemon!
Don't worry - you're time will come

Well, they must have done something right. Best of all the guy is not some crook, convict, mental nutcase. Way too many of these type are converted in prisons or mental institutions.

Exactly. I watch a lot of travel vloggers and food vloggers and recently turned to YouTube comedy. A lot of the content by these people is just daft, it's bantz between friends, but clearly something positive about thier attitude, behaviors etc attracted him to Islam.

None of the people in these vlogs appear outwardly religious, they're not preachers, they're just fun people.

Yet the uber tekdar of Islam types would condemn them for free mixing, not wearing hijab, making rude jokes, wasting time, listening to music, over breathing oxygen etc etc.

Religion can be a beautiful. But what puts most people is the dogma and restrictive outlook that comes with it and a binary judgemental mind. Like a list of things you do or tickbox. Pray five times, beard, wear hijabs but then curse like a savage, get upto all sort of no good, indulge in corruption. The numbrer of times I see hijabi girls in UK using language that makes me blush at my age and wearing three inch of make up, tops and jeans three sizes small so they are bursting showing every cleave in the body like a X-ray scan but of course hair is covered. And then having debates about two atoms in a billion of gelatin in the chewing gum. This is not the Islam that would attract anybody with a functioning brain. Yeh convicts in prisons might fall for it.

How about using Islam to be a good human being and let your existence, persona, example be the light for others.

Abey views lene k liye nautanki hai sari LMAO

And at that point he was a much better Muslim than you are, because you judged his islam with no proof or base. And you say he did it only for views, us “Muslims” criticize everything despite clear teachings in Islam not to do so.
Fouseytube, Adam Saleh all do this bs to get views.

Its the general SOP of these wrecked youtubers to visit a third world Muslim country, turn to their religion and have their population offering them the views in millions.

That Canadian girl who accepted Islam, where is she now? Lol

So I see a lot of people are saying things like it all for views etc, well let's just say for the sake of argument that it is, at least he did take the oath even if he did not mean it, that makes him the ummati of Muhammad SAW, the man was sent as a mercy to mankind, and on the day of judgment this Gora will be standing with all those awesome and munafiq Muslims, with proud or ashamed is yet to be seen, but him saying those words gives his soul a hope to get mercy for the Allah, remember that even Abu Talib RA, Father of Ali RA and uncle of Prophet who protected him for all his life never took Shahadah, and not even on his death bed... Let's leave his intention and Neeyat to Allah to Judge, let him do whatever he wants in life but the moment he said those words, now he becomes a Muslim and brother to every Muslim and Don't forget what Prophet Pbuh said in his last sermon.

Maybe they do, but it is not anyone’s place to judge, because we can never say for certain someone’s intentions. There are specific lessons about this in Islam for this very reason. Let Allah judge eh. He is the best judge.

Wow! I have come across some judgemental people in my life but you top the list - the worst of the lot. Unbelievable that you are raising doubts and suspicion on intentions of reverts to Islam!
