What's new

Another Hezbollah-israel round looming

i don't think Hezbollah h itself instigate any war with Israel at this moment because due to Syria crisis they have lost a considerable public support among sunni Muslim in Lebanon and Arab by supporting Asad regime. But do Israel them self need wage a war against Hezbollah when they can instigate a war between Al Qaeda and Hezbollah ? which already somehow happening in Syria where enemy of Israel fighting them self and losing their strength .

Your hatred against Shias is not something new on this forum, but at least stop lying when trying to spread hate.
I have nothing against Shias. Massacres comited by Shias against Palestinians are fact.

I mean it's really funny who cares now about lives of civilians. 1982 Israel's invasion on Lebanon resulted in death of more than 10,000 civilians.
We entered in midst of bloody civil war with 150,000 casualties. Actually our invasion helped to stop civil war and saved many lives.

Not to forget the Sabra and Shatila massacre that occurred with assistance and full approval of Israel.
Sabra and Shatila was made by Assad agent Elie Hobeika. Another massacre of Alawites against Palestinians (Tal Zaatar 1976, Tripoli 1983, camps war 1985-87).

Now you might want to to inform us regarding 'mass slaughter' of Palestinians by Lebanese Shias.
I already provided information.

.
Massacres by Jews against Palestinians are also a fact. Leave your off topic discussion aside. Try to be relevant we are speaking in modern terms and Lebanese have looked past those dark days.

Sabra and Shatilla was done by Christians who had Israeli backing and ties.

I still don't see how this has anything to do with the topic.

They are so minor compare to massacres done by Arabs that if they were done by Arabs no one would even notice.

Look whats going in Syria, thats can happen again anytime.

Sabra and Shatilla was done by Christians who had Israeli backing and ties.
They had Syrian backing ties as well and their leader was Syrian agent Hobeika.

This is just an opinion and prediction.
I think now that a comprehensive settlement to Iran's nuclear program is going to be negotiated in July this year, we will see another war between israel and Hezbollah (much more intense than 2006), potentially also involving Hamas. Perhaps even Syria, but maybe thats a little far fetched.
I think israel will do it to poison the political atmosphere in the US by blaming Iran's support of "terrorism" and make nuclear deal politically impossible for Obama administration.
I also believe the israelis will want to start something because they have to get back their deterrence capability, which eroded in 2006 conflict.
I think a major war is looming around the corner in June/July.
For a war to be started two elements are needed simultaneously, conditions and ignitions.
In Israeli case history proves the creation of ignition is not a problem.
But I am not sure about the necessary conditions, it is true that the Iran, Syria, Hizbullah, Hamas axis are in the weakest situation right now, but the most important driving factor for that weakness is the Sunni-Shia sectarianism.
And how a war could affect that element is what many are busy assessing right now.

That's not the point, they still had devastating effects. Displaced many Palestinians.

Look whats going in Syria, thats can happen again anytime.

Let's hope it doesn't.

They had Syrian backing ties as well and their leader was Syrian agent Hobeika.

That doesn't make Israel look any better, a regime installed by France has meddled in Lebanon for a while back then.

Well, I also noticed many Pakistani members have a hard on for anything Saudi Arabia. :D:D

How dare you compare the bazaar's rotten tomatoes to the Ajwa dates ?

Not really, but i see your point. Liking KSA isnt for Saudis but for two holy sites. Some misinterpret it :D

What about me liking Pakistan? :coffee:

In 2006:

Hezbollah had only unguided short-range rockets that were unable to reach important cities in Israel.they had only few Iranian man-pad SAMs( misaq-1), useless Iranian drones (mohajer),no high quality Anti-tank missiles ,etc.

In 2014:

Hezbollah has a decent number of highly accurate Fateh-110 ballistic missiles (range:300 km,CEP: less than 10 meters, half ton warhead) beside thousands of Fajr rockets.they have SAM-8,17 and Misaq-2 as SAMs and they have got Scan eagle UAVs and suicide UAVs as well.in case of Anti-tank missiles, they have lots of Dehlavieh missiles(copy of cornet) and in case of anti-ship missiles, they have P-800s and Noor/Qader missiles as well.

FT-110 missiles are so accurate that we have put them in service as Anti-ship missile too!
