Anyone accusing another of blasphemy will suffer the punishment if the accused is found not guilty.

Why this law was not a problem before in Pakistan and have no issues in other Islamic states?

RAW is paying Pakistani Christians for burning Quran and with promise of Presidential protection.

Pakistani Christians have never burned Quran before so regularly.

What can we do.. law is a law. If not blasphemy such people can be booked for terrorism.
Burning Quran is a open terrorism.

It would obviously help but it wont get rid of the extremists and the lack of any kind of security. These are obviously not people that care much for any law or even a explaination into the matter. They seem to just hear something and now want to end lives motivated by extremist religious views. This was the type of thinking that produced laws like these in the first place.

The accused doctor in this case is an Ismaili, and they are Muslims.

It is highly stupid to accuse someone of blasphemy after the individual allegedly threw a card with the name Mohammed on it.

It is most likely a sectarian act. Ismailis keep themselves under the radar and out of public eye for obvious reasons.

They did however tried to change the education system in Karachi but they got a message from the Mullahs and it went something like this, remember another group which was very involved in the state and what we did to them.

The Ismaili's went quiet after that but JI still started a campaign calling them zionist agents.

Why do you think is the concept of punishment and law?
Without punishment it is not possible to keep order.
I mentioned about the lure of Presidential protection which has not only triggered those sudden discretions of Quran but also raised the corruption level of Pakistan to 400%.
People know if they shout slogans in favor of Zardari they will get executive pardon.
Indians know more the pardon cases will trigger civil war in the country.
Why shouldn't Indians invest few hundred dollars on Christians of Pakistan?

How this is being act Blasphemy.Actual blasphemy has been committed by the complainant by keeping his name Muhammed.Coz if he thinks that doctor has committed Blasphemy by throwing his card in dustbin then he too has committed Blasphemy by anointing himself equal to none other than the Prophet himself by printing Prophet's name on his business card.Instead of doctor complainant has been arrested under Blasphemy act and punished with death sentence.
