Anatomy of a goof-up: How an Indian Army chopper landed in Pakistan

Don't know why the links not showing... You can look at it if you search "Indian helicopter shot down gharib"

But nothing compared to Atlantis. What a great shot it was right inside the Pak air space!

It was an atlantique (atlantis is a mythical underwater island), and it was shot because it strayed into Indian airspace. Please stick to the topic.

Good that Pakistan acted like a sensible humans instead of like India which shoot down any Pakistan heli/aircraft that come into Indian territory
This much irresponsible comment from Senior member :D
Standard Protocol :
1. Airspace violation is warned and Jets are scrumbled to intercept.
2. Within this period Voilating aircraft should turn around and return to its territory
3. If jets reach to it they ask it to land in Indian territory.
4. They shoot if and only if this direct order is disobeyed.
5. If they land no ones gona shoot.

In this case even Pakistan understand air violation after chopper landed in their strip :D

Yeah it was atlantic/atlantique but it was shot inside the Pak air space when it ignored the warnings of an Indian escort MiG29.

What i heard here of pakistani sources was they were claiming that it was shot inside pakistan and the remnants were dragged by indian forces into this side of border to make the claim valid ? Is this what u are saying ?
