An opinion from a Turkish brother: Pakistan's best response to Indian actions

I'm going to cop a lot of hate for this. But I must say it.

The best response to India, especially after their citizenship law is to push for secularism. Pakistan should make it very clear that it supports all religions equally. This would piss off India. India would prefer an even more Islamic Pakistan.

Trust me as a Turk. Secularism is the best thing for your country. It will gain support and respect from a lot of countries.

India is slipping into Hindu fanaticism. It is the perfect time to show the world that Pakistan is more civilised than India.

Don't forget my brothers. Secularism doesn't mean western values or liberalism. It just means that all religions are treated the same. It separates religion and state. It is the best way to go.

What a nobhead.Arabs really respect Pakistan's foundational basis by slapping medals on that terrorust Modi who poses existential threat to Pakistan. Unfortunately in Pakistan the medival mullahs have succeeded in convincing the masses that secularism means no Islam or atheism. Thus secularism is a dirty word. Translated into Urdu it has been rendered as "no faith". You and I know secularism is just the state keeping a healthy, detached impartiality to all religions.

Turkey is no beacon of secularism, they oppress a majority Muslim populace in the name of secularism and India oppresses it's minorities in now while being a secular state. Instead of going on tangents, does anyone really think by taking away Pakistan's raison d'etre would in anyway be a one upmanship vis India? Especially, if the proponent comes from Turkey where until recently state disallowed women to wear hijab out of their own volition becauseof their faith?

Pakistan from its birth was declared as a Secular nation However the constitution of 1973 changed that. Our founding father Jinnah envisioned it as a Secular Nation as well, so who are we to disagree?

Big joke. In non muslim countries Muslims does not have dietary restriction or restrictions on making mosques neither they are barred from holding public posts.

There are muslim majority countries where pork cannot be eaten, making church or temple is a challenging issue, non muslims cannot hold government positions.

Pak is 95% Muslim. You have to be really insecure to NOT be a secular nation with that kind of % subscribing to just one faith.
