Americans building Nuclear Fallout shelters inside the US embassay in ISD.

So the word has fallen that Americans are building nuclear fallout shelters inside the mammoth compound of the US embassy in Islamabad.

I guess its a pretty serious situation given the history timeline of past events. Would like to have an opinion from people who could understand what it really means and its possible implications.

This is big.. means no one ever did this in embassy yet. Generally " Fallout shelters" are last resort before any thing worst happens.
Even they are not building it in USA. There should be some law by which Pakistan can stop it. Even to make such a structure they have to bring lots of material via road. One can keep check on road leading to embassy and check all trucks and see what they are doing exactly.

Pakistan can't legally do anything because in U.S. Embassy area U.S. laws will work. They can register their protest but I don't think anything specific can be done

There are fall out shelters all over USA.

What will they do then, in case the shelters are going to be used, they would need a massive operation to get the staff out form that and into a safe zone, ala a friendly country, India maybe?

In current scenario of PAK-US relations US should act very carefuly if they want stable relations, from other side Pakistani government should block any effort of US government to increase US embassy staff and resize their area of existance in embassy to minimumwith strict control on in and out movement to ensure that there is no such plans going on inside embassy.

It does , would you allow our embassy in Washington to have Nuclear fallout shelters and have 700 Elite SSG soldiers , in return for you having 700 Elite marines in our capital ?

I just want the american soldiers and excessive embassy staff to leave our country , they have no right to be here and spread terror. This is against our freedom and sovereignty and its just a matter of time when we will "make" them leave along with their puppets , if they didn't leave themselves.

but the question is

why would you need one in Washington? no one can launch a nuclear attack on USA
whereas the situation in Sub continent is volatile
by the way I dont see any good this shelter will do because the Embassy will come in almost the center of the blast radius if India nukes the capital. so everything within 50 or 100 miles will be vapourised and everything underground within the initial blast radious.
