Guys Altay has not got any armor in those pics and videos right ? because as far as I know armor is not ready yet, we're unexperienced in that, I wonder what kind of armor will appear.

This tank looks so sexy!!I love the Altay and the K-2 black panther. Turkey is doing a good job by working with the SOuth Koreans on this project. Second with a system similar to the trophy countermeasure it will make the Altay and Black Panther unstoppable. Damn it is like every year Turkey is getting stronger and stronger!! First the F-35s,the Altay tank,the UAVs,TF-2000 frigates. Damn I cant imganine what Turkey's military strength is going to be like in the next decade. Bravo Turkey you guys are on the right path.

Yeah I am. I am of Haitian descent. But I like Turkey though,their weapons systems and its rise. I keep telling people Turkey is a great power and a strong ally of the US. Seriously we have some neo cons in the US who after the flotilla fiasco calls Turkey as an islamist state. I don't think so because Turkey's modernization is getting steam.

Dude what is your problem? I just like the Turkish military advancements. I have no problems with Israel matter of fact I like Israel's trophy system,F-15I and Israeli women. Heck my uncle from Jacksonville gave a pre ban galil rifle. I have no bias of one nation to another. In my opinion Israel and Turkey should be friends again because that combines force will be a major regional powerhouse.

No problem. Aselsan handled the development of the "protection armor" (AMAP) the Leopard 2NG Tank model and the transition to modernization Leopard 2A4 Tank standard.

Second point. Turkey makes the development of its “Altay tank” in total collaboration with its big ally South Korea who already masters fully science armor and AMAP (Advanced Modular Armor Protection) for its own national K2 Black Panther Tank.

As far as I know 2ng armor is German made, I hope they examine the 2ng well and come with something good, 2ng is an Aselsan upgrade, Altay' armor will be made by Roketsan, don't know if those two companies collaborates(should be yes I checked that Roketsan also partly belongs same organization with Aselsan).

They say everything is %100 fully Turkish made in videos, tv channels etc. , don't believe all of them, armor is German, I read it several times in forums with sources but I forgot where.
