you can last a max of food reserves stored in the body. obviously given his size he will last a little longer. but all of that is superseded by the fact that you can live with out water for 3 days and thats when your body slowly shuts down.

Legally someone would not be punished for going on hunger strike.

But if they are admitted to hospital because of this, the Doctors can get a Court order to force feed.

This is because when treating they are under a duty to save life.

But if the person is not admitted to hospital then this situation will not occur.

So in hospital yes, at home no.
