I think this question should be directed at the relatives of APS tragedy and relatives of soldiers and all other policemen and civilians who were beheaded and their bodies mutilated and skulls used for footballs.

we on this forum cant speak for the victims of TTP.

What's the heaviest bomb we have? Send one for each child into Kunar and Nuristan.

The only reason that people like you would support Negotiations with TTP is due to your religious affiliation. I remember JI Amir saying that Pakistani soldiers fighting TTP are murtad.

Regarding the solution, TTP was almost over but the establishment always keeps such groups at *almost*, they make sure that they're never *over*. Why? That's because their industry, real estate and the mulk khatray men syndrom would end. Gernails will no longer be able to enjoy their lodges and gulmohar houses unless 2nd Lts to Cols die.

If you really had to negotiate, then why waste the lives of 70k Civs and 7k security personnel? Shouldn't I go grab the arm of Asim Saleem and Asif Ghafoor for selling their *dehshat gardon ki kamar tor di* manjan to us? Why negotiate with an enemy with broken spine?

Also, they've been negotiated thrice before, but these rascals with a twisted version of Pashtunized Islam will come up with something new so that civilians will pay the price for once again.

IMO if the USA/NATO were unable to defeat the Taliban and finally after 20 years of conflict and so much bloodshed opted for a negotiated settlement, Pakistan is no exception.
Our armed forces do not have technological edge/facilities which are enjoyed by USA and NATO FORCES. All operations will be limited to the cleaning of infestation of TTP in reference to time and there will be no permanent solution. We will continue to lose our sons in the process. We are facing the same situation in Balochistan.
The only solution is to establish the writ of government with an iron hand, when the militants are at their weakest, establish the contacts for a negotiated settlement and pursue them for the political stream, keep strict monitoring for a certain period.
We already lost our children in the painful APS massacre and approximately 80,000 citizens including children/women/men, young or old. Members of our armed forces as well.
We have to find a way out of such a situation. Anger will take us to nowhere but multiply the miseries of ours and our peoples.

EXACTLY!!!!!!! For me I have imagine thousands of scenarios to torture them I wish I wish I I get few of them in my hand

What will be achieved by the dialogue? TTP has harmed Pakistan more then Taliban did to US/NATO. US had the option of leaving the mess like they always do but what is the option for Pakistan? What will we achieve after the negotiations?
What are you expecting that will happen? TTP dogs are more like rabid infested dogs. You dont bring one in your home. U kill it at the spot.
Is anyone expecting them to be law abiding citizens of Pakistan? NO ,a big NO. What will you say to the victims of their barbarian deeds done to the thousands. Dont they deserve justice.Thousands of Pakistani were Butchered and we want to have a dialogue. Go back 15 years or so when it all started suicide bombing on daily basis especially in Rawalpindi. Not only soldiers everyone was their target. What do you expect from them? I would rather have 10 enemies with honour rather than one without it.

Nice emotional rhetoric

But I am more interested in solutions

Till now I have:

1. Establishment wants to keep TTP alive
2. I wish I want to torture TTP terrorists
3. Total destruction of TTP (didn't explain how)

These are the three things that I can conclude till now

Any solution guys???

The crux of your post is that Pakistan army wants to keep TTP alive

Do forum administration agree with what you are saying

Lets ask them

What people don't realise is that whatever rendition of peace we have right now in the country is resultant of talks, talks and talks.

Neither the state nor the government can keep up the bloodshed nor can the radicals continue their ways.

Constitution of Pakistan has ample means to negotiate from a position of strength. Politicising or giving the conflict an ethnic or sectarian flavor will not solve the issue.

Are you threatening the army or using the recruit material to keep the conflict brewing?

Nobody is talking about general amnesty. Taking away access to foot soldiers will help.

The state is not bloodthirsty, if the state does not show flexibility, what would be the difference between her and fringe groups aiming to occupy the country.
