Meet a proud Lahori, who's ancestors have been living in Lahore since ages. There used to be a village near Darogha Wala, Lahore. My father's grandfather (he lived for 105 years and died in 2004) had some land in that village prior to independence, and he sold that piece of land just to use the money to welcome the people who were coming here from other side after independence. He used to send 50+ daigs of food daily in refugee camps and he told these stories proudly till he died. We today can never come anywhere close to these legends who had true love and passion to give sacrifice for this country..
