The best thing about Algeria is its people, very polite and welcoming. Used to love the young boys knowing we are Pakistani, showing their muscles and saying Pakistan nuclear nuclear. Women are extremely beautiful.

Food as per Pakistani taste is not very interesting. They serve things cold with no salt and all.

Shops and Hotels do not except credit / debit cards so it is advisable to carry cash. Hotels are extremely cheap.

Business environment is very difficult, do not expect an Algerian to sit late even for 5 mins in office. Remittance is difficult. Infrastructure is really good, can do wonders in manufacturing for European market but needs to spend alot on the human resource.
