Just because you havent heard of Algeria doesnt mean they cant afford it. Algeria isnt a poor developing country.

"The World Bank classifies Algeria as an upper-middle income nation. The country has energy exports in natural gas and oil."

Algeria has only a GDP of about $200 billion a year, that's peanuts size, it is not even in the top 10 producers of oil in the world, only equivalent 10% of Saudi oil production. Algeria ranked only number 10 distant in natural gas production in the world.

Algeria and China Sign 15+ Partnership Deals​

The Algerian-Chinese business forum, which took place in Algeria last week, saw the signing of over 15 partnership agreements between Algerian and Chinese firms.

With the participation of more than 80 companies, the event marked a significant milestone in enhancing economic relations between the two countries.

The forum was attended by Li Jian, the Ambassador of China in Algeria, as well as senior executives from the Algerian ministries of industry and commerce.

The agreements spanned diverse industries including construction, telecommunications, steel and metal processing, paper and cardboard manufacturing, plastic packaging and more.
