We need to produce such kind of weapons locally. Buy in large amount + TOT and then produce them locally, add some R&D, enhance the product and sell it to the world as your own.
We have a Baktar-Shikan HJ-8 system produced by KRL but that's a longer range system up to 4 km. While Alcotan-100 is an infantry level system with a range of 600-m. It main magic is Vosel that calculates the trajectory and guides the rocket to the target. Such a system can be developed but with some R&D however PA felt it needed the system immediately so they went with off-the-shelf purchase. However for future we should develop our own system and we need larger number i.e. twice the number of enemy tanks that will be around 8000 missile.

Such kind of defensive-offensive weapons are the need of the hour. In order to put India's Cold doctrine to trash using conventional weapons, they we must develop anti-tank weapons and and especially SAMs.

I was about to ask you:p::p:

If we are going for disposable weapons than there is new option from South Korea which could be our answer to India's induction of Javelin. This Alocatn 100 comes in category of RPG Missiles but to answer Javelin we need to go for this one from South Korea

ADEX 2017: LIG Nex1 Showcasing its Raybolt Anti-Tank Missile

At ADEX 2017, the International Aerospace & Defense Exhibition currently held in Seoul, South Korea, local company LIG Nex1 is showcasing its Raybolt man-portable anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) system.

The Raybolt is a portable 3rd generation anti-tank missile for infantry units. Combined with the latest technology in Korea, the missile boasts highly sensitive seeker and enhance penetration capability. The Raybolt can identify and engage a target using its image Infrared Seeker. The missile can operate in two different mode including direct attack and top attack where missile target's the upper part of an armored vehicle.

Unlike other conventional missiles where the operators were required to aim at the target to guide the missile, the Raybolt employs fire and forget function. After launch, the operator can move to other locations immediately. Such feature increases the survivability of an operator. Also, the missile is smokeless where it is possible to launch the missile from inside a building.

A company representative explained to Army Recognition during ADEX 2017 that the Raybolt is lighter and with more penetration power than rival systems. The missile can also be fired from vehicles. South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) ordered the start of serial production of the Raybolt in June this year.

Are they willing to offer TOT?

. .
Already discussed here before. It is a bad investment. No TOT, the missile container is sealed and disposable and not re-usable, If the VOSEL unit goes blink, the entire system fails at the time of firing, each sealed missile comes from Spain filling pockets of the manufacturer and the local agent, the system was purchased hurriedly on proprietary basis, ALCOTAN offers no special advantages over RPG-7 in range, RPG-7 equipped with a similar range finding and ballistic calculating sight from a company in Belarus is more cost effective and lethal, ALCOTAN missiles are heavier to carry by the Infantyrman, etc
