Airforce Ranking System.

I like American Air force ranking system because it is same as the military system, Like Major, Lt Col up till General etc.

I like PAF and I am supposed to like PAF but I don't like their British ranking system, Wing Commander, Squadron Leader, Group Capt. etc etc I am always confused

So What do you vote for, American or British System?

1) you shouldn't have opened a new thread here. Better have asked some senior members. His reply would have have been the same as mine.

2) I'll go for British system, as it differentiates between a Army personnel and a Air Force Personnel.

If we induce the American system now, promotions made be held, or some may even get undeserved promotions, also the Span of control may vary. This may result in chaos and mismanagement for a while. This is, of course, my private point of view.

Better ask the men in blue (Think Tanks) as they may guide you on this stuff.

I try to ask unusual stuff which other people don't ask. I wanted to have an idea about what people think about ranking system,if they ever thought about that.

Mate,this is 63 year old National history and i don't know for how long Great Britain has used it but you feeling the need of a change just for the sake of change is just not good enough.
It does not benefit us in any way,so for the last time your being ultra nationalist wouldn't move anyone into considering your ranking system,unless you march your way into a joint staff meeting and put a magnum 45.cal. revolver on our CJSC's head and ask him to bring a Pakistani revolution.
