what is the assigned task of tees maar khan?

F-sola requires at least 17,000lb of dry thrust; you'll need a powerful and efficient 'tees' to match that propulsion

lol

(Pashto speakers will understand)

Musulman, I 'sympathise' with your views...

but it's just not worth revamping and changing a system that has worked and operated just fine. Changes that can make it more efficient and even stronger fighting force however, would be encouraged. Always room for improvement.

^^ It is not about making a system efficient rather we are following 'American/Brit order'

We includes: Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.

I didn;t want them to change, but if they do they should change it to something local. Tees mar Khan was a joke Ali Agha :)

IMHO there was no need to change the old Brit RAF type "Pips" to the Army style "Phools" or the ranks. May be the need rose when an Airforce Person dealt with the local Policeman -- he would not understand the stripes and thus the rank!

The US Airforce arose from US Army Air Force genre hence the Army ranking system is prevalent in USAF - it used to be USAAF.

Small little things called Customs, Tradition and History which mean a lot to the men in uniform and mean nothing to most civilians.

Also as the Americans say 'If it aint broke, don't fix it'. It seems to be working fine so let it be.

thanks for your answers guys.

My question is just to have your opinion about the LIKING of same army ranks or britsh style.

My question is not "if you like PAF to adopt amercian style" :)

The US has the same issue with Navy rank. All of the other services use a fairly standardized rank system, and the insignia is similar, but the Navy uses stripes and differing names. For example, a Navy "Captain" (O-6) outranks (by far) an Air Force Captain (O-3).

But as said already, it works, no reason to mess with it. And tradition does mean a lot to the men who wear the uniform.

+1

its not like the man in uniform will get better or more patriotic with a indigenous ranking scheme.
