First, the WS-10A China, regularly broke down after only 30 hours of use. There are many reasons for these failures. First of all, Russia knows that China has stolen its intellectual property in the past and is reluctant to sell Beijing its best engines. Moscow also does not sell engines on its own, but integrates them into existing jets, making it difficult to copy them.

Second, reverse engineering skills do not easily translate into skills in developing new jet engines from scratch. This requires technological know-how, the development of which requires years of intensive learning and generations for further development.

Wrong again … the WS-10 is not based on any Russian design but on the CFM-56‘s core.
And that sales argument is wrong too since Russia always delivers engines even without integration into existing jets. All J-10 fighters, the early J-20s and all D-30KP2 for H-6 bombers and Y-20s were delivered just as engines.

That‘s exactly the point, you are constantly portraying yourself as an aviation expert but again you don‘t Gert the most simple facts correct. As I expected: just a „google expert“, so before again arguing again against anything from China do your homework First, and do it correctly.

Oh well ... 1. the WS-10 is based on the CFM-56's core
2. all AL-31FN delivered for all J-10A/B/early C, all J-11/-15 and J-20s were delivered directly from Russia with love :smitten:exactly like all D-30KP2 for all H-6K/J/N and y-20.

3. Yes, the original WS-10 had severe issues, but since 2009 thsi is at least sol much solved that no Flanker uses Russian engines any more.

Drones that are armed to kill and use artificial intelligence to pick targets is fast becoming a reality.



Last year, the United Nations released a report that a Turkish-made drone using AI was used in Libya by one of the factions against its opponents, which, if later confirmed, could become the first documented case of automated machines killing humans.

The four-fan-powered Turkish drone can apparently be launched as a group, which then trails around to collect information, analyze data from the ground, and then decide to launch attacks. No need for a commander to control and give orders, which means there will be little clue as to who is behind the attack
