Agni III doesn't pose threat, we share friendly relations with India: China

BEIJING: Describing its ties with India as "friendly and cooperative," China today said both countries did not pose mutual threat.

Dismissing reports that India's nuclear-capable Agni-III missile, which has a range of 3,500 km posed a threat to China, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu said China and India shared friendly and cooperative relations.

"I don't want to interpret or comment on the reports," Ma said when asked to comment on the February seven launch of Agni-III which put China's major cities within its strike range.

"The China-India relation is friendly and cooperative. China will not be a threat to India, and nor will India pose a threat to China," Ma was quoted as saying by state-run Xinhua news agency.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu refused to comment on the reports at a regular news briefing, only saying that China-India relations maintain their good momentum.

"Bilateral ties will move forward with the joint effort of both countries," he said.

good diplomatic move....This is how mature Chinese people respond....Seriously they are too busy developing, they dont need any diversion from their great march...India too wants to emulate Chinese....Only some people who have no development issues to talk about keep shouting hoarse about perceived dangers from their neighbors. In my view China will be far more happier if Indo-Chinese deal comes through for development....

One has to to be see chinese reaction by keeping emotions aside. India should not swept away by just sweet talks.

1. This is China's policy they believe in surprises so other country is unprepared and off guarded, they sweet talk like hindi chini bhai bhai and then back stab.

2. They also has to calm down their people about Agni's reach to their main cities.

India should not go by their talks but should watch their actions. The answer lies in:

Is China supporting anti India activities and funding terrorist?

Is China arming and supplying weapons to any country to severely harm India?

Is China opposing developmental IMF loans?

Is China involve in string of pearls?

Is China occupying part of Kashmir?

Is China have rapidly increases its incursions?

Is China building huge Dam in Tibet to divert Brahmaputra water?

Is China while talking sweet preparing for a war?

etc.. etc......................

This is just an diplomatic statement that every nation issues after a missile launch.

I seriously hope that the border dispute is resolved amicably and both these great civilizations enjoy healthy and prosperous relationship afterall this century belongs to India and China.

we know every thing

I guess if all of the Issues are resolved on the table then Pakistan China and India can move forward to make an Economic / Military block to undermine the influence of Yankeez.

Is China planing to increase the bilateral trade ?

Is China planing to increase the bilateral trade ?

My Friend,

Don't fall into trap.

Trade between Chin a and Taiwan is huge.

The Taiwan have invested ten of billions of dollars into China.

Yet, China want to invade Taiwan.

Also look at the US-China trade volume, despite of all this the Chinese govt. and all the Chinese people hate the USA most.

I hope u get it.

China is a country, not fully represents the Chinese civilization. The Chinese civilization can as well be presentated by Taiwan and Hong Kong. So the relationship between China and India is a relationship between two countries. But to think about it, India does represent Indian/Hindu civilization. The US, however, does not represent the western civilization.

This shows that India is a country that is the sole representative of a civilization.:coffee:
