Applying immigration and getting it is a long process anyway so it takes years….

Countries don't want influx of Pakistanis because the belief is many (single men mostly) are religiously motivated which can increase the threat of terrorism in those countries and they are not particularly educated or skilled enough to meet the threshold of immigration and so many (like thousands each year) do attempt illegally which is a fair concern by many countries to restrict them.

As far as likes of Aftab are concerned, they are candidates to migrate through investment but as you said since his line of work is predominantly targeting a particular audience of a particular language and content viewer, that would be a stupid thing to do. Here he won't be able to find a job even at Tim Hortons lol. These people would rather prefer taking nationalities of foreign countries as a backup while living in Pakistan.
