BAJAUR: Three rockets fired from Afghanistan into the Sarakai checkpost in Bajaur injured two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel on Tuesday, Express News reported.
The attack comes as the third instance of border violation from Afghanistan’s side in the past two months.
Earlier on September 26, six mortar shells fired from Afghanistan killed two people in the Ghulam Khan Tehsil of North Waziristan Agency.
On September 18, Afghan security forces killed at least five Pakistani citizens close to the Pak-Afghan border in Balochistan.
Islamabad had lodged a strong protest with Kabul on the same day.
Frontier Corps IG Maj Gen Ghuyur Mehmood said last month that foreign consulates near the Pak-Afghan border were creating problems for the country.
He maintained about the warmongers though, that “if we stand together for peace, we can easily defeat them and foil their plans.”

We Pakistanis have to be more and more vocal when guarding our interests, in fact we need to learn the basics of guarding our interests. With a hostile Afghanistan and hostile India we are wedged right in the middle. We need to develop a policy that helps us deal with our domestic problems such as terrorism, corruption, electricity and poverty and then concentrate on these two irksome neighbours.

If India can come suddenly and ensure the framing of Pakistani citizens within Pakistan its pretty clear that we are a very weak country, weakened further by a war on terror that just is not ending.

Pakistan should find a way to eliminate top Taliban commanders, deliver a crushing blow to the evil militants and find a way to end this war conclusively. Then we can concentrate on the assortment of various threats we face from across the border. But if we don't fix issues pervading our country internally how can we dream such grand dreams?

Another thing we can do is stop demonizing secularism and atleast give the system a thought if not make it our country's sails. Secularism is a beautiful system. It was founded by a 12th or 13th century moorish philosopher known as Ibn Rushd. So no one can say it is incompatible with Islam. Furthermore we can look to secular nations like Turkey and Uzbekistan for guidance. (Uzbekistan has a literacy rate of 99%)

We should fire back with heavy Artillary 130mm Type-59IIM Guns, which are located in well camouflaged Bunkers along the Pak-Afg Border !
