Former Pakistani national Adnan Sami asks Pakistanis to get over the ICC Champion victory as it was only a game.

Pakistan became the ICC Champions on Sunday after playing against India in the finals. Since then Pakistanis have been celebrating on social media.

Adnan Sami indirectly tells Pakistan on twitter to get over the victory as it was only a game.



When Pakistan won on Sunday he congratulated the team and praised them.

Besides, if anything the Pakistan Cricket fans have not been celebrating enough. Think about the impossible odds Pakistan had to overcome to win this match. The indians have NEVER had to go through such obstacles. india is a country that is more than 7x bigger than us which means they have a 7x larger talent pool to chose their cricket players from. india has the richest cricket board in the world which uses it's clout to push the game of cricket to it's advantage. Pakistan has 0 power and influence in cricket. india also has one of the best cricket facilities in the world to support their cricket system. Pakistan has the exact opposite to this. Cricket is a religion in india wheras most Pakistanis are not as zealous. india is the number 1 team in the world wheras Pakistan is number 8. These are impossible odds that Pakistan were not suppose to overcome. The whole world said we could not do it. Yet Pakistan did the impossible. 200 million defeated over 1.3 billion. In fact we we destroyed, mauled and humiliated a nation that is more than 7x our size in front of the whole of humanity. That is the BIGGEST reason to have the BIGGEST party in the world. If you don't like it, don't watch it.

Make no mistake about it, this humiliation is a shock to the psyche of indians. They never saw it coming and don't know what hit them. Such was their raging confidence. It is an extremely bitter pill for them to swallow. They will never forget this. Us Pakistanis have been very restrained in our celebrations. Had the indians won they would have said it was revenge for the indian soldiers killed in Kashmir, a victory for Hinduism and an expose of "indian superiority". But then again, Adnan Sami is a proponent of indianism.

No it was not about the way India was beaten. Infect a nail biting finish would have hurt more. Because you snatch it from the mouth.

It's more to do with a few people who dragged their personal hate in a sport. Sehwag's comment was one of the reason, media was another, twitter comments were another.
Sehwag lost a sanity battle very day he made comments in front of another legend Shoaib Akhtar. Shoaib with his silence showed his maturity and bigger heart. Game winning was mostly a slap for haters.
I think a little benter is always fine but never cross that thin line.
I still think Shoaib's silence was heard louder than ranting of Latif and Sehwag.
