Recently, Charlie Beck, Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), praised the Abu Dhabi Police’s ability in uncovering crimes in “record time”. The LAPD official made this statement last June in commemoration of a graduating batch from the Abu Dhabi Police’s Security Support Department.

The Department also participated in practice exercises with the LAPD, in addition to helping them make a number of arrests.

“The Security Support personnel carried out highly efficient and quality exercises, and assisted the LAPD patrols in their daily missions; this contributed to reinforcing their practical expertise,” Colonel Khaled Saeed Al Shamsi, Head of Security Support Department at the Abu Dhabi Police, said in a statement earlier.
