Abhijit Iyer Mitra Vs Ajai Shukla: Big Border Face-off Over Ladakh Standoff

I'd seen those terrible tweets. There seems to be some personal rivalry between this guy and the alt news guy. As I said, I'm in no rush to judge him or let his opinions influence me.
He had replied a derogatory sexual remark to Islamic Prophet's wife in conversation with a Muslim, I don't know how you can take him seriously without having tolerance for Islamophobia. He don't any background in electronics or any defence related topics too and have been criticised by RW hindus for inaccuracy.

Opposition's this particular way of thinking, I personally feel is huge factor in the ruling party's win and vote consolidation.

I agree - in hindsight. To be truthful, I loathed the Congress so much that I never thought of what they were doing to encourage the (then) opposition.

I'm no one wrt defence related things to ratify him or someone else, but sure his arguments are convincing. And yes, given his sanghi background, there's a reason to believe he is aiming for volume consumption. He is one of the voices, along with others who found some bandwidth in the spectrum, nothing more. And I'm in no rush to judge him, he is still young in my opinion. For me personally, spread of this damn disease right now is bigger cause of concern than the standoff.

No argument with that!

Thank you. I'm aware of the 'special' observation for freshers in any new forum with adults, it makes sense too. Rest assured, I'm here for knowledge -ज्ञानान्वेशन. Not here to push any agenda. So, mostly will be in read mode.

Please don't be in read mode. So far, your posts have been very insightful and thought-provoking.

Thanks brother.

Lol, it also boils down to culture. In here, transgenders are part of popular culture. There are temples with transgender deities too.

Then why 'Ghandy' is used at all @Joe Shearer ?

This was an old Parsi version of the name Gandhi; names were spelt in a variety of ways. It got to the stage where Calcutta University decided, arbitrarily, on 'standard' spellings for Indian surnames; so you might wish to be known as 'Banerjea' but your degree certificate would be made out to 'Bannerjee'.

Ghandy was the Anglicised version; the two Tatas heavyweights I mentioned, 'Joe' Ghandy and his son, Saros, spelt it both ways. Saros started with the spelling 'Ghandy', but later in the day, I have seen it spelt 'Gandhi'.

In the case of Feroze, I think he himself changed it to 'Gandhi' in admiration of Mohandas Gandhi; he was a staunch Congressman, even when he was standing up in Parliament and flaying the Nehru government, his father-in-law's government, for the Jeep scandal.

They are not 'my' street gow rakshaks nor 'my street' does have any. I don't care if he eats beef or a gay, as long as he's rational and constructive.
