Guess what, this is a very complex technology, India has a decent success rate with this kind of systems when compared to the very few nations who are attempting to build one for their country. Its easy to laugh as Pakistan can only dream of something like this.

U see, this AAD tech if successful will be a outright defence against none other than Pakistani Nukes. With its success, India will move one step further of being immune to Pakistani Nuclear Power Warcries what we see daily from their analysts and army officers.

There is no immunity when the average flight time between the two nations is 4-6 minutes.
All the AAD offers is some protection for the eastern most cities.

You are right, with such low response time, some of this costly toys may not be very effective..... But these toys gives you a sense of security to the nation and to its forces, which is the most important thing in case or a war.......

Dude. Exactly the reason such tests are continued. Everyone knows that India has capability of long range missile defence but now its all bout short ranged tactical missiles and for that better composite, less weight and high power technology is required. This is exactly what we were testing.

And my point still remains. What all u said bout average time and immunity being idiocy is true only until the tactical nukes are non intercepted.
