A Take On Communal Violence In India

Education.

Women working.
The guy was commenting on the BJP's anti-Muslim stance, it's not exactly related to education or women.
I agree though for a need to work considerably on these issues.
Fewer kids.
Muslim fertility rate has fallen considerably in the preceding decades and now currently stands at 2.6 per women which I think is a healthy figure and will fall more in the coming years.

1) The best way to defeat BJP is to bring back the OBC and Dalit resistance, UCs have always voted for BJP. Even now when BJP loses state elections it's because of OBC and Dalit voters not voting for them.
2) Any armed resistance is doomed to fail as I have explained in many other posts.
3) On mob lynchings, the best way to avoid is to cautious otherwise no matter how one is a trained Jacky Chan, numbers will always overwhelm him.
4) Muslims are marginalised and setting up "Muslim clinics" will take much effort and time and it's not an original idea either many thought of it and applied it to limited degrees of success in various regions.
Thanks for your concern though.

Here's a thought for you. I know you'll accuse me of being ill informed. Why weren't Sikhs targeted to mob attacks in Punjab in 1984? Why in Delhi? Because they form the majority there. They were easy targets in Delhi.

Doosri baat, if you keep brushing everything away by saying it'll take time and effort tou kya faida hoping for anything? You may not see the effects of your efforts but your children or younger siblings might. Imagine, if Muslims all over India had woken up after the Gujarat massacre or the Nellie massacres and consolidated themselves, they wouldn't have been so marginalized now.

Teesre baat, it's better to go down fighting than like a sitting duck. Imbibe the idea of resistance in yourself. Arm yourself, arm your women. Get rid of this defeatist attitude. Vietnamese rag tag militias would never have been able to destroy the world's largest military if they had adopted such a defeatist attitude.

I am no one to guide you because I don't know your situation. But do something for your self and your community. You guys are not weak. You are 200 million. These BJP people are bullies trying to kill your spirit like they have done to the Dalits for 1000s of years. Had the baniyas been so powerful, Pakistan and Bangladesh would never have been formed

Firstly, who is that guy and how is he important to you as an Indian?

Secondly, I'm from my vantage point telling you where Hindus are beating you as a community.

2.6 is very different to 2.1.

Especially when you're talking about a quality masters level education and not just trade school or joining chachu's garage.

I can only say the Kashmiris have much more of a Muslim spirit than you all. 12 million people giving the Indian army such a tough time. You guys with a mammoth population of 200 million keep making excuses. Have fun saying Jai Shri Ram meri jaan.

Quite funny that criticism of your fanciful ideas leads to you concluding that we want to be Hindus.

Well honey, given the current circumstances, that's what seems most plausible. Doesn't matter whether you want to or not. It depends on what your Hindu overlords want. They might just take away your voting rights if the NCR CAA debacle continues for too long.

Yeah we know what the Hindu overlords want. But why do you keep insisting that I want to or will become Hindu?

I know you are trying to insult me. But please, just because I do not agree with your ideas?

It's a Pakistani forum that is open for anyone, joining here means that you're open to communicate with anyone.

I agree.

@Naofumi

This is a vital life lesson for you.

Observe what happens to one of you when they burn their bridges with their parent country.

And observe how the other side engages both of you. The subtle differences.

.

Yes you are.

But on your own terms

Within the rules.

Says the guy who supports BJP and the CAA-NRC. Which is responsible for the mess Indian Muslims are in today.

There are increasingly many Muslim families who will make small girls also wear some type of head covering getup (the technical names evade me).

It's a hijab that is ready-made, sometimes with a portion coming down over the chest.

Culture is always evolving. Fashion is always evolving. Stop living in the past and embrace the future.

Yeah, even if the future is, ironically, regressive, jumping over six prior decades of progressive activism. :coffee:

@Joe Shearer never fails to amaze how you entertain yourself with false-flag and troll handles. Pandemic must have bored you out of your mind. :enjoy:

I'm getting obsessive about this, you think? Quite possibly; now that you've pointed it out, I'll stop speculating. BUT our most faithful troll is right here in our midst, for what its worth.

I don't support the BJP. I'm traditional 3rd generation Congressi.

I vehemently opposed the CAA.

I think instinctively that I shall be pro NRC, when it comes. Yet to see it's form and fine print.

Make alliances with Naxals or Maoists, make alliances with whoever.

The Naxalites / Maoists are hardcore communist guerrillas. Which type of Muslim should approach them ? The newer Tableeghi type or the older socialist / poet / writer / director / intellectual type ?

And it might be heartening for you to know that there are Muslims among the Naxalites, especially in Karnataka and Kerala states.

Regarding "dowry", Muslim men pay the families of Muslim females, which I believe is the exact opposite of Hindu interpretation of dowry. I'm no authority but that is what I had to do as per imam's instruction. So assuming that is the rule, I can't see how you can draw any comparison.

The concept sounds different but it is identical.

Among Hindus, the daughter is a chattel, and it is the highest of eight forms of marriage when a daughter is gifted by a father (physically, someone other than the father can do the gifting; the pious merit comes to the father). Those who are interested (like 0) might like to find out the other seven forms, and their real-life deconstructed meaning.

In this, the father gifts the daughter, and hands over a valuable sum to the groom's family (not to the groom) to maintain his daughter in the best affordable manner.

Among Muslims, the equivalent of a dower is mahr, and it is a payment, cash or as decided by the bride and groom, made to the bride, not to the bride's family. This effectively should make her financially independent of her husband, her husband's family, indeed, of her own family; if properly negotiated and paid, it is in effect her emancipation.

There is a superficial similarity, but the effect is radically different.

Yup garlic is great food to increase libido.

Those who have read the Thousand Nights and the One Night will remember the delicately nurtured princess who ordered her bridegroom thrown out of her presence because during their wedding feast, he consumed a dish made with garlic.

Musslims aren't safe in Yogi's UP or in Bihar. They need to move to Bengal or closer to Kashmir or the South towards Kerala and TN. And make alliances with local state Hindu leaders not from BJP like Mamta Banerjee or MK Stalin

They don't have to make 'alliances' with Mamata or with Stalin, or with Left leaders. They just have to behave like normal citizens, like everybody else. That is the point that neither the Sanghi nor the green chaddi gets.

In the following video the narrator tried to explain the relation between segregation and communal violence though he missed many points and according to his own data it does not collaborate well like in Hyderabad it is more segregated second to Ahmedabad but communal disturbance is much lower in Hyderabad with all its shortsightedness the video do explain in lucid way the co-relation between segregation and communal violence. Do watch and share your views.

Such a catch 22 situation.

Mixed neighbourhoods are good for mutual understanding but they can lead to people becoming easy targets in a riot. Segregated housing though safer during a riot situation, leads to more riots. What to do.
