A Super Power without Allies ?

funny how a discussion of superpower or not turn into a brothel topic.... :sarcastic:

Lets cut out the trolling now.

China has nothing to offer the world except cheap imitation of the real thing(from the west). Nothing wrong with that. You can call yourselves the superpower of cheap crap.

Right now, I'm going to open a brothel for Chinese ladies. Wish me luck buddy!!!
Accept defeat. It's funny how one brag about turkey greatness and talk down China about others while borrow money from China. China beat the Turks in Tang dynasty, we pwned you again in 2018.

China is no superwoper...
Globaly it has no military strenght to act like a superpower... like the USA today or USA and USSR in the past
China is only a economy superpower and only a regional military power...

China cant even stop the US NAVY to sail through international water that China claims their own at their front door... something the USA would have never tryed during the cold war with USSR and the USSR not with USA

There is only be one super power in the world and there will be only one super power in the world. That is America.

China can send CV-16 Liaoning to 50nm of Hawaii pear harbour inside international water. It is totally legal. But does China needs to do that? It just a matter of China not to do this kind of petty action.
You are correct that if China does not need to do so. In fact, if China stated that the PLAN must sail by Hawaii to challenge US, the world would laugh at China. The reason is that we do not claim the entirety of the Pacific Ocean as territorial waters, unlike China who claims the entirety of the South China Sea as territorial waters. So the US challenge China make sense, but China challenge US in your scenario does not. So yes, it would be a petty action by China.

why USSR did not use the same tactics US used against them ?

What makes you think that is the case? Russia was, is, and will use every tool, allies and all, at its disposal against its perceived enemies, just as USA (and every other major player) does in international geopolitics. Everybody plays the same game, it is just that those who play it better over the long term reap the benefits. Simple, really.

who were USSR allies and what did they do for them in Afghan War ??? or come to help them in need ? @gambit explain very nicely in his first post , but i would appreciate if he also say something about how and why USSR allies fail to stop their collapse ?

Mao died in 1976 and Deng took over. China became enemy of USSR and ally of America. USSR was beaten by China in Afghanistan. American weapons weren't even 0.01% of those used by mujahideen. 99.9% of weapons came from China. China built millions of AK-47 arming mujahideen transported there by Pakistan. In Afghanistan mujahideen never used AK-74 which was USSR service rifle. Why? Because China never made any AK-74.

Many countries that were under the Russian thumb as part of the Union were participants. Most of the Warsaw Pacts countries supported the action, as did a large number NAM countries.

There was nothing the Warsaw Pact could have done to stop the collapse of the Soviet Union. The reality was that it was the Soviets who have been economically propping up the communist bloc worldwide. Inefficiencies in a large system -- the Soviet Union -- can be mitigated at least for some time, but in a small system like the Soviet satellites, the effects and consequences are usually quicker to be felt by the people. The Soviet satellites could not have helped the Soviet Union.

We dont need so called allies to suck our blood dry.
China wanted and tried to during the Cold War. There is nothing to even hint that China does not want allies today. Looks like you do not know your country as well as you think you do.

China is not a superpower.
China is a powerful developing country.

Pure communism failed as an economic and political system badly. USSR was designed to fail from the beginning. Bolshevik revolution was a western plan. You cannot suppress people and still think you will survive as a super power.

Excessive of anything leads to collapse. USSR was excessive control and excessive rigidity in terms of resources and meritocratic expectations without its proportionate rewards. Hence over time, it collapsed. USA is no different; it is extremely capitalistic and that extreme version of capitalism where a human is measured by nothing but wealth will cause disasters and eventually lead to collapse.

Moderation is the key.
