A Super Power without Allies ?

Chinese "exascale" prototypes are in name only. None are true exascale machines or even come close. The US has the fastest supercomputer in the world, and work is underway on our first exascale computers. Chinese "lead" in exascale is nonexistent.

Do you understand the meaning of "exascale" ? That means about speed. Prototype exascale means the prototype of supercomputer with speed exascale, faster than existing supercomputer.

Further more, even if the speed of the chinese prototype is not real exascale as per your imagination, still it is much faster than US' existing fastest supercomputer:

One prototype quantum computer proved 100 million times faster than its normal counterparts, and these speeds have numerous applications.

Dont lie, fastest supercomputer always changing, a year ago China, now US, soon will be China again. For sure as China's exascale will be released in 2020, 1 to 3 year ahead US/

Google is testing a 72 qubit quantum chip and IBM 50 qubits. Both are world leaders in quantum computing.

Google & IBM may ahead in chip, but China has built the world 1st quantum computer while US has not.

China Has Built The World's 1st Quantum Computer, And It's 24,000 Times Faster Than Competitors

As for the railgun.....mounting it is not what's challenging. It's the gun barrel durability and rep rate that is the true challenge. This is what US Naval Research has been focused on. Mounting the weapon will occur once a reliable gun barrel has been achieved. We know next to nothing on the reliability of the Chinese barrel.

I am not talking about mechanically mounting on ship as the challenge, but including the ship power generation and storage that can give enough energy for the projectile to make the railgun formidable.

And keep in mind: just because the railgun is there doesn't mean the railgun actually works. Engineers for this test, as with all other railgun work, will have to overcome formidable challenges in material durability, power storage, and projectile guidance. If successful, however, it would offer China a game-changing capability. A working railgun would likely be installed on future versions of the Type 055 destroyer, which makes sense considering the vessel has been reported to have IEPS, which would meet the electrical demands of railguns and other direct-energy weapons like lasers.

Lastly....you still haven't named a PRODUCT that China has developed to date that has revolutionized the world. I didn't ask for your opinion on future technology. Name a product that China has developed that has revolutionized the world to DATE. Your speculating....not living in reality.

I did ....where have you been?

Qquantum satellite ... quantum computer ... china has released them while US not yet. It is revolutionizing the world. As for past as I said China was developing country in the past we are talking abut now and future.

Not to mention these:

If US is the only superpower, US should win easily in trade war with China, and should have already destroyed Chinese artificial island in LCS.

They can if they used excessive force. Other than that they have to play by the book.

Moreover, if there to be a trade war between US and China it would be China that will get hurt mostly not the USA.
