What's new

A sincere question to my Pakistani

. . . .

Absolutely.

As I said already, despite all the attempted slander (and not just here and today), I have no reason to dislike anyone who I simply regard as not knowing any better. We can discuss matters with different opinions without using unnecessary and wrong labels.

Personal attacks only mean a lack of logical counter argument.

Thank you for taking action. Now can we move the thread along its topic and not its participants? :D

=========================

Pakistan will win or lose according to the strength of its economy, above all else. As the OP says, where are we in this regard, and more importantly, WHY?

.
This is why every now and then I have a thread popping up ...some call it emotional ...but what I want to see is people starting to think!
Me? I just came back...you tell me how and why did you leave it?
Insan sari dunya ka aik jaisa hai. Terbiat difference peda kerti hai. That's why I say keh Pakistan k logon ko terbiat ki zaroorat hai

.
The unity being spoken of here, has it ever existed previously in Pakistan? If so when?

.
Stupidest thread of PDF those who care for economy never go to war wars are for destruction not for welfare Pakistan can never compete with India economically no matter what

Economy money money mantra reminds me shopkeeper mentality , with this mentality one cannot take any bold initiative in life. No wonder in our folklore culture the shopkeepers have been described to be the most coward segment of the society because the only thing that occupies their mind is money, which is understandable because unlike other occupations they get access to "money" during every trade or transaction in their business on daily basis. This is very different from a farmer who would see the "money" only after few months when he harvests his crop and sells it to a shopkeeper/trader in the mandi/market. No wonder that Farmers have been considered the most daring/brave segment of our society among occupational class peoples because money didn't use to occupy their minds/souls the way it occupies shopkeepers/traders etc.

Dear Pakistanis,

You dont pay taxes - yet you want a multibillion dollar war?
For the gazillion time, we do pay taxes and get nothing in return from the government. You have to live in Pakistan to asses the magnitude of taxes being squeezed out of common people.

You dont vote for progress - yet you want a multibillion dollar war?
First you have to define what progress is, Is selecting PTI the only progress Pakistan needs, or is it handing over everything to Jurnails, or is it all about rotating the throne between the houses of Shareefians and Bhutto's?

You havent set aside your differences - yet you want a multibillion dollar war?
That's true, Pakistani's are as segregated as it gets. They even switch loyalties with other states when it comes to their own interests.

We have a messed up political, social and financial system - yet you want a multibillion dollar war?
One word to describe why that is--Greed.

We have managed to say no for Yemen and yet we want GCC to say yes to Kashmir? We have offended GCC many times before ....yet we expect them to behave to our tone when it comes our time? Do you have not shame? And for all the children claiming we did loads for GCC...The amount of money they channel to us....we have no idea! Our politicians never let us know what came to us! So stop your blind hatred!
Let me rephrase---"We are so blinded by our personal inclinations that we even criticise our own state to please a regressive monarchy." Yes we said no to Yemen war, because we were/are already entangled in a war of our own. Our relation with GCC is symbiotic, don't talk as if the flow of favours is uni directional only. I am sure that you are aware of the fact that the volume of remittances being shipped to India, dwarfs the UAE-Pak economic engagement by a huge margin and yet we should forever be grateful to the Holy Emirates.
Rather than trying to stay neutral like Iran and the rest of the GCC, UAE has stabbed Pakistan in the back by issuing a statement that comports with Indian narrative.
Its heartbreaking to witness that your self included, Pakistani's are acting apologetic towards UAE treachery and are offering excuses.

This is what I admire about the Indians no matter what the circumstances, as a NATION they stick to the core interests and defend them to the end. Pakistan are willing to give up on their own country just because some Holy friend is unhappy with Pakistan.

While I agree with the most points that you have raised, you have missed out entirely on a simple understanding that for all of us it should be PAKISTAN that is the priority and not GCC, China or any other state for that matter. Even if it's us who are at fault, we still have to defend our country regardless the right or wrong.
Pakistan is our identity!!!!!!!!! Own it and respect it.

Pakistan is Our Land... this is the Only lens through which we need to see the world.

We have NO time in getting bogged down in petty feuds of others... anyone who is with us is with us.

Rest is just distraction. Clarity in Statecraft and no time for lamenting or balmegame or victimhood.

Focus.

And what focus is that; Differentiate between Haram and Halal traitors and move on? Sorry I don't follow.

Do you know much taxes was imposed in USA before it became stable and "you got something in return and even now you dont as much as Europe"?

Systems take time to kick in and churn returns!...Rotten systems take extra time to fix!
