In 2025 BD's economy is projected to be around $250 billion....................taking into account a 1% acquisition budget, how will you accomodate everyone of these things in $ 2.5 billion ??

Because procurement of major weapons are not included in the annual budget,Govt. raises extra fund for big purchases.

Pakistan won 71 as well, with help of bangladesh.
When India attacked bangladesh, both brothers came together in the name of brotherhood, and kicked India back. Then they mutually agreed to separate, but promised they will keep writing letters to each other.

Well do you think Mauritius have nuks or sub marines like India or Pak ? Or nuke power sub like India,China etc.
Only India & Pakistan have nuclear technology not Mauritius or Bd .Even If we compare infantry,airforce etc units of Indian or Pakistan Army With Bd or Mauritius Then Definately , that'll show us that only Pakistan is capable to fight with India or win against India.

Almighty helps always,yes when kafirs attacks he helps.when invaders attack he also help.
If something is done for well purpose almighty always helps . And Islam also forbed us to address someone kafir ,so brother I can't use it.yes, our problm ( both Bd,Pk) is with Indian army,govt . And we also know that all Indians,Pakis,Bengalis are not bad.so why r u mixin everything together.I just compare military strength not kafir-muslim type anything

Completely will not really divert many funds from other areas as proportion of GDP that BD government is spending now is going up from around 15% in 2010 to around 20% by 2015

Threat perception? BD needs total military superiority over Myanmar in case they try anything funny.

India is not a threat now but who knows 10-20 years down the line. BD can never protect itself against India by conventional weapons but it can build a military that will make India think twice.

Would you mind telling us these two points in details like why do we need total military superiority over Myanmar and why india is not a threat now? What I believe is we need a smart military that can deter any attacking force, it's achievable without raising eyebrows of international community. Just making the defense budget 2.5% of GDP and kicking out corruption it's possible.

The FC-20 is not yet available for export. And if it will be, it'll only be so toward a select few countries. There are reasons for all the secrecy around that thing.

I doubt if Bangladesh would be one of the select countries in the near future unless it sets it's alignment straight. And if we become a Chinese dalal, brace yourselves.
