A Path to peace

We openly declare such views, and the crazy Mullah brigade runs with them to impose, first on us, and then wherever they can. Do you not see a problem with this?
misuse of something does not mean you ban it it means you stop the misuse... seriously stop now.. you are bordering on trolling...

. .
That's a circular problem.
People keep electing these same people into power.

The problem is that there is no national civilian institution which is considered neutral and acceptable to all Pakistanis. The closest thing we have is the army, but the army is not a civilian outfit and its job is to protect borders, not fix domestic problems. When the army rules the country, it only does so because it is filling the vacuum left by the lack of civilian leadership.

Problem is a small world, the tragedy is we only have one institution that is doing their's and other's job. All others are burden on our treasury and tax payers.

You know once I went to Sui (the place where we have our Gas purification plant) on an official assignment, I was shocked to see that local people living next to that plant were deprived of gas for their houses and village, even their children did not have slippers in their feet to wear. On my way back I kept thinking how other countries develop their areas of resources and how we are dealing and then we complain there is insurgency in Balochistan. Nobody raises their voice for this injustice.

Lol
BJP came to power because it promised to bring in progress in India and also because for months close to election date they managed to control their saffron agents.

So any religious party in Pakistan promises reforms then people should not have problem with them coming in power.

Religion must remain a private and personal matter, separate from national policies. Totally.

Oh come on where the heck do you see Islam being reflected in Pakistan's policies, Islam was never there except for general public's feeding. Look at how many sadiq and ameen are there in today's Parliament. We never gave Islam the chance in true spirit to be reflected in our policies instead we used it as needed like for Jihad in Afghanistan.

If Islam had been there you would have seen justice and rule of law for everyone.

. .
And something written in our resolution hinders them from whatever they want to do as a state? What sort of logic is that? And I do not see any thing damning their beliefs.

I am fucking tired of your other fella other fella rhetoric.

My post was simply in response to curses spewed by Mastan Khan on Pakistanis, if you have reading problems go consult someone but do read Mastan Khan's curses first for which he never appologised but I instead appologised for what I said out about expats.

You keep coming back about your way of this and that, just let me know what have contributed so far for Pakistan? Have you paid any taxes in Pakistan? Are you or any very close member of your family fighting terrorists with his life on stake? Is any family member of yours serving any strategic organisation of Pakistan?

If none then shut the **** up because me that other fella has all these. We send our children to school everyday knowing the dangers but in hope to keep our generation educated. If you cannot respect that then please stop your this and that about Pakistanis you have no right and even no clue how we survive these tough times.

Sir,

Apologies for what---You are already there---I don't need to push you any further---you have already done it---

I see someone is anticipating :)

I don't think that you know the meaning of what you wrote---.

You are a worthless TT chairperson----. You have no leadership capabilities---. I have not seen you in any of the major discussions on this board.

If you have any character left in you ought to resign from this position---you ought to be ashamed for your incompetence---but if you are a friend or a relative of the webby or the admins---then Pakistan Zindabad.

Yeah I expected this. Talk big this and that but on ground you are part of problem not solution, who will happily blame Pakistanis, because its in these days to blame Pakistanis for ills of the world.

Before reporting me you should have gone through what you and Mastan Khan said about us Pakistanis. Anyways I give a damn even if I get banned. At least whatever respect or sympathies I had for overseas Pakistanis are gone, courtesy you and some others.

Hi,

Step back---take a breather and don't take it personal---. Take it just like another hit---. Learn to diffuse your anger and try to look beyond what is being stated---for what may look shocking on the surface for the first time read may not be as damaging when looked at with calmer nerves.

Thank you.

Thanks for the advice. Normally I will accept criticism directed at me generously, but any useless rant or blames to do with my country or Pakistanis I will loose temper. @jungibaz. Anyways this needs to end, you guys have good time and take care.

I have some good memories of Ptv.

PTV used to have a rotation of dramas from the four provinces. It was a friendly competition between Peshawar, Quetta, Lahore and Karachi to see which one could produce the best drama series. It also made people aware of Pakistan's cultural diversity and appreciate the other provinces as part of the common nation.

It was a great concept and produced some fantastic drama series.

Yes, there is very little genuine compassion for fellow Pakistanis. People are much too focused on their own little community, whether it be religious, ethnic or anything else.

Since the government is beyond repair and the vultures still dominate the political landscape, the only hope is for the media to raise public awareness. But the media, as I wrote, has utterly failed in its duty to the nation.

This is not about Islam.

We Pakistanis must learn to ignore the parrots and pseudo-intellectuals trying to turn this into a religious battle and focus on the core issues of governance. If the core problems of corruption, law and order, and national unity are solved, the symptoms -- whether they be extremist mullahs or ethnic gangs -- will be tackled much more effectively. Without doing the prerequisite work on governance, it is futile to address the symptoms.

Mixing Islam with matters of State in the undeniable basic mistake that laid the root of the present day issues of governance as well as others, such as a military that thinks of itself as divine, subject only to other-worldly control. That is clear to all, and denying it only makes it worse. That is also very evident.

Pakistan was made on this basis. It will always remain so. You are an American who stays in America. It is your wish to learn about armies out of control i would advice you to look at the actions of the US army. Or the CIA. Or look at laws like the 3 strike law.

the day you stop creating problems the world would be peaceful. Do not detract the thread. If you have nothing productive to say stop posting, and no more one liners. All of these are against the forum rules...
